When did you know Jay-Z fell off?

he fell off????
dog his last album sold 600k+ first week lol.
he doesn't spit with the same intensity..we know this.
but who from that era really does?
Em's style has gotten style and Nas sounds like the "old dude" on every feature spot he gets lol.

everyone declines..but Jay knows the ins and outs of rap too well to ever fall off lol.
Even Wizards Jordan still game 'em 20 points a night.

You trippin if Nas just sounds like some "old dude." Life is Good was :pimp:

Watch the Throne is one hellava fun album. But lyrically he was pretty shaky.

MCHG is 100% raw fecal matter.

For real. People can say what they want about Nas, but lyrics is the furthest that's a problem for him. Jay-Z on the other had purposely dumbed himself down (smart on his behalf success wise), but he just doesn't sound the same, often sounding lazy as ****, which in 2015, may not be on purpose.

Fell off???

He was never that dope to even begin with
He trash
Only dope rhymes are the ones he stole from big
He a bum
And lucky PAC and big ain't alive because he wouldn't have even had a lane
Not to mention he a goddamn snake
His biggest hit he had to steal from omillio (give it to me)
Then jerked him on the publishing
He a straight cornball
***** had the tears flowing on hot 97 after ether dropped
Ol throw a stone and hide ur hand as *****
He was like the 5th best person at best on rocafella
Beenie was number 1
Not to mention he had to steal young Chris flow to even stay relevant
Stole bigs rhymes
Stole Chris flow
Stole rocafella from dame
He a damn thief

WTT was a Kanye album with jay doing background vocals
Jay prolly pressured him so he can stay relevant
He has issues
If he ain't stealing someone's rhymes
Or beats
Or flow
He stealing a piece of their relevancy

I'm sayin nas still spits so damn effortlessly
While jay continues to rap them struggle bars

Dudes in here are beyond delusional and one in particular is beyond obsessed. You can't fall off when you are still leading the pack or at least at the front of it. You still hear Jay's music just about everywhere and his sold out tour shows speak for themselves. No need to talk about other rappers when Jay has lapped rappers twice more even after his "retirement".

In regards to the title of this thread, just remember that people hate up, they don't hate down. It's hard to hate on someone who either doesn't have much, hasn't accomplished much, or still owe back taxes.

I died after I saw this whack ****

After American Gangster his albums have been decent with little reply value. And his worse album Kingdom Come was before that. American Gangster is a classic to me but that's 1 outta his last 4 albums that I still play. WTT is still real good but that's not a official Jay album. I don't think Jay fell off lyrically cuz his features are still dope. Dudes like Jay, Nas and Em can rap forever it's just that the music might not always be good.
