Like 99% of the other ppl on here, the leather on these is really nice. The orange is vibrant. Just a overall great shoe. Only complaint is the sail color used. Looks too off white but will blend in nicely with some khaki jeans.

Struck out this morning like everybody else. Thought I had a pair locked up when I carted on Shoe Palace but their checkout system is terrible. Oh well hopefully I can find something under $400 for an 8 by next Wednesday.

Is it just me or does the backboard leather seem as if it will b easy to scuff, scratch or rip? Seems super fragile.

Man, the off white color looks like a reg bright white in most pics but in the pics with them next to Chi's it does look a lot different. Actually looks really good though since there's not much white on them and the shoe overall has a darker hue.

It's because everyone is fooled by how this "feels".
Nike did this same leather in the pro bowl trainer 1s...
And that leather does not hold up.
They put the thinnest of thin to give the illusion.

Congrats to everyone that copped. Copped mines this morning. Only own a few pairs of 1s. But I must say this the best quality I have seen yet. The soft toe box and leather is so plush. It's crazy
