Look at how lively the leather is. When it has those natural looking creases and wrinkles, that's a good sign. Or when you can see just how thick the cut of leather is. When the leather kind of looks like it's sinking in; stuff like that.
It's an acquired eye for detail that you get from time/feeling a lot of sneakers if you really love them.
It's not 100% accurate obviously, and I've definitely seen shoes simulate some of these effects (I'd say the 'sinking in' to actually soft leather ratio is almost 1:1 though.)

These don't look half as bad as i thought. but tbh, they should have just made these a 2 block colorway like breds, royals, etc. the white side panel kind of throws it out of place.

Yup...although I still think (unless they slap the limited tag on these) that these won't be AS hard to get as some people will pass them up due to all the May releases. If people pay retail then that's almost $1k worth in one month on kicks for adult sizes.

I disagree. I think part of the beauty of this shoe is the unique color blocking. People just want another form of breds and royals all the time. I think it's good as is. If these aren't ridiculously unobtainable I will be trying to go for them.
