So my daughter's mother is Italian and we take a trip to Italy every year, now I see it as a good opportunity to go somewhere else in Southern Europe while on the trip so would you guys recommend Spain (Barcelona, Valencia, Seville, etc) or Greece, Athens, Crete, Santorini, Mykonos etc. ?   Both countries seem appealing and it's hard to decide.

Greece is going through some economic changes at the moment. They just elected a new prime minister. Save Greece for another time.

Why would the economic changes and new prime minister make a difference for a traveler?

If she goes to Italy every year, switch it up and take her to Spain.

I personally would suggest Egypt, but if that's not an option, go with Spain

I was actually looking into taking the ferry from Spain over to Morocco as part of the trip if we go to Spain but she doesn't think it's good for her to go to Morocco as she's a blonde woman

Spain is the world's biggest skatepark b.

A lot of you saying Spain but haven't been giving the reasons why its a better destination over Greece

Egypt is very affordable from Europe. Went last summer with my girl from Macedonia. We were going to go to Greece or Turkey but the prices were actually cheaper to Egypt. We went down to Hurghada and then just did the excursions of everything from our hotel. Not sure what your budget is but I spent less than $1400 for flights, hotel (5 star Hilton- All Inclusive) and spent an extra $400 to go to Cairo and stay on a riverboat on the Nile for 2 days, see the pyramids/Sphinx, dune buggy through the desert, ride camels, off-road in the black desert/star gaze at night, scuba dive, snorkel, went to luxor, museums, went to Deir el-Bahari, saw the Colossi of Memnon and a bunch of other stuff...we basically did everything we could while we were there for the 2 weeks  The entire trip was under 2k with food and drinks...our package was one of the more expensive ones but they had some all inclusive packages starting from $250pp for 1 week and $350pp for 2 weeks at 2-3 star hotels.
Easily the best place I have ever been too for a vacation.

The beaches were amazing as well

Xennial Xennial I went through a local travel agency in Macedonia and flew out from there since I was visiting her. If you are going to Italy first then I would recommend checking out the local travel agencies in the city you are going to be in. They should have some really good deals since people are staying away from Egypt because of what happened a few years ago

Where are the rest if the pictures man .. Sound like you had a blast ..I would need a full itinerary from you ... Need to plan all that ish .. Bit maybe when the thread of ISIS is gone ... **** to wild to be messing over there.

Cuz they're highly in debt to a point where Germany is thinking of kicking them out of the union. They're even thinking of changing from Euro to Drachma. There's riots happening. Why would you wanna travel to a country when they are having problems?

Spain is part of the eurozone too, but yes, Greece was and is literally bankrupt.
