Official Adidas Derrick Rose Thread - D Rose 11

looks fake
Definitely not fake.

I might consider getting it if it releases in CA. Primeknit upper matched with what looks like solid outsole seems like it would be a must cop.

Question though, I had the mesh pair and even went half size down and hated it because of the extra toe room both in length and height. What's the best fit for primeknit?

I have both mesh and primeknit. I went TTS with the mesh pair and SHOULD have went a half size down with the PK. different people say different things tho in regards to sizing. Take it as you will.

I bought spenco insoles for both pairs to get rid of the toe box issue. Works out very well IMO.

I think I've changed the insoles for every pair of Roses since the 3. Good call.

Patiently waiting for a steep disco. Got the D Lillard 2s for the mean time.

I don't think they're out yet over there haven't seen them on any sites in Europe. Maybe they won't get them? US didn't get the white/red mesh pair so wouldn't be surprise if adidas do that to you guys with the Xeno.

Do you think the primeknit is worth the extra $?

i think its worth it, went tts on primeknit version and was very satisfied.   don't hoop in anything else now

Mmmm...depends really. i like it and find it a bit more comfortable than the mesh BUT the grip on my solar reds are something like 8/10 when I'd rate the Chicago Away Mesh as 10/10 (11/10 really lol). Depends on what you're looking for. That's why I'm very excited about the chicago Home PK because it's a solid sole so the grip, in theory, should be the same as my mesh pair.

Sounds like difference in traction > the difference in materials. Definitely looking forward to those Chicago PK.

Have also heard the primeknit adds a bit of weight/bulk, did you find that to be true?

No I read it's only half an ounce diff

well to me it is because of the way I play. I need maximum grip.

Mmmm it adds a tiny bit of bulk and is every so slightly heavier than the mesh. With that said, you don't notice it when it's on feet and you're playing.
