Official Adidas Derrick Rose Thread - D Rose 11

Just got these from Nice Kicks. Really hyped about playing in them. Switching from Kyries to boost hoop shoes. Thanks y'all

I just ordererd a pair of Solar Reds with -20% off.

I tried them on a while ago in my local FL but had to buy other things with my money then.

But the primeknit & especially Boost just felt so nice I couldn't forget it.

The way they felt & watching the performance tests I really think I won't play in any other shoe anymore this season.

This colorway also looks really nice...don't like any other CW though.

from where?

Not the Rose 7 but broke these out for the first time on the court since it's Christmas and as my first boost hoops shoe gotta say I didn't really feel the boost but nonetheless thought it was pretty good - fit, traction and support were great without being too much. Love the upper materials as well.

I know people been saying TTS, but what would it be in comparison to the CL2016? I wear a 12 in those. adidas TTS and nike TTS are two different things lol.

TTS size on the Rose 7 and drop in a thicker insole. They are narrow and slightly long but TTS works as you do not have to worry about heel slippage. Lock down is the Rose 7's strong suit. In terms of Boost cushioning, that goes to the Rose 6. Adidas just switched the lockdown and cushioning between the two imo.

CL you have to half size down to eliminate the heel slippage, they run long too. Not sure if replacing stock with thicker insoles on the CL would make it better TTS.

I think heel slippage with become worse with a thicker insole on the CLB16s as it'll elevate your heels up higher and it'll cup it less and the back is going feel a lot lower.

At least that is my experience with low cut trainers. With the DRose7, you can pull it off because it is a high.

TTS is the consensus with the 7's. Dropping in the insole helps with the toe issue. I have one pair that was TTS with the insole and another a half size down with no extra insole. TTS feels more comfortable with the additional insole. As was said in an earlier reply, with the CL2016, they run long, there's not much that can be done about the heel slippage, you just have to lace up as best you can to get a good lock down.

sweet thanks for the replies everyone!  and btw the code does work for the finishline. drops it to 116 on FNL with shipping and add tax.  if only FNL carried 12.5 that would've been instacop at that price.
