Why do people attack comedians..for being comedians?

This thread is sparked by people coming down on Jamie Foxx for making a jokes about Bruce Jenner in reference to them being transgendered. He himself as well as his sons couldn't care less but people still continue to attack Jamie. Its a joke, it wasn't hate speech or meant to hurt. That's the distinction imo. I feel that no one is above being joked about. That includes minorities whether that be Blacks, gays, Asians, or those will disabilities. Its ironic to me that most offend those that take to social media/blogs to attack comedians who said something they didn't like are most often liberals. More and more it seems like context is getting lost upon people.
 
I feel you... its crazy how many jokes on race sex and personal problems get aired out but as soon as its something flamboyant people acting as if theyre excluded from getting ranked on

People usually let jokes get a pass if it's from a comedian that is one of them. Basically we can make fun of ourselves and others can't.
 
Cause people nowadays are sensitive, emo losers with nothing else to do except whine and cry about any and everything.
 
Damn...imagine the flack a young Eddie Murphy would have gotten back in the day. That's if society was so pc in the 80s as it is now.

Richard Pryor, and all those legendary comics wouldn't stand a chance today.

These dudes paved the way for dudes like Seth McFarlane to joke about ANYTHING on shows like Family Guy. They don't hold back :lol:
 
Not sure why this is offensive. I mean if Bruce is going thru with the situation, is something well known.

In theory, what Jamie said was correct, dude can perform the duet by himself and he is getting his busting his nuts while he still have them. Smh ....

People are going to crack jokes regardless.

This isnt a case of "born this way". Dude is what? Over 50 and now realizing he's supposed to be a woman? Dudes been emotionally unstable for a while and his messed up family didnt help

Although I do find it funny, I agree. If a comedian came at black people, ya'll would be pissed.
