I've out to eat multiple times after work wearing sweatpants, did it last Sunday with 1 co-worker and 2 friends, everyone else looked nice besides me

So after a first date I had the other day and seeing this thread, I think I found one way that I can differentiate between low and high maintenance chicks. I always go to similarly rated restaurants on first dates and the difference between the low and high maintenance chicks is always found in them making the offer to pay (which I never accept) and their attitude post-dinner. Most high mainentance chicks treat nice dinner dates like they do that M-F and lower mainentance chicks are (genuinely) appreciative. Nothing wrong with that and it makes sense but just an observation

You'd feel like going to dinner was a 9-5 too, if it took 2.5 hours out of your day to get ready and you spend another 1-4 hours wearing uncomfortable clothes and 6 inch red bottom heels, while carrying that heavy *** LV bag and trying to eat a burger without messing up your nails...

Well... I can say the same about the man I'm with. I will never ever date a man who regularly gets his eyebrows and nails done. He can get away with getting pedicures and an occasional facial, maybe even highlight his hair but if he dips into my stash , that's it.
I get what you mean though. As far as my personality, I do like dressing up, doing my hair , nails, etc for going out. I don't expect that from men but I FREAKIN hate dressing up to go somewhere bogus.
However, all of this is based off me. Some women are not like that. If me and my man go out, I'm going to make sure I keep his attention. He's going to notice other guys and women looking at me. I don't play glancing across the room at some other chick. It's also important because it sends the message that going out with your SO means something to you.

Wait. Wrong. If a woman genuinely loves to dress up, none of that is uncomfortable. You can wear comfortable heels that are affordable. You all are stereotyping. The women who dress up can go either way. It can be work or it can be an EVENT to do something fun with your guy.
If a man showed up on my date in sweats, whether we have been together 5 years or just met each other, it sends a clear message. You don't have to dress to the 9s for a burger
BUT you can throw on some earrings and bangles because of who you're WITH.
I do my own nails but even that makes no difference.

Give me a naturally beautiful woman who is somehow athletic and can be tomboyish with outdoor activities
but can dress it up real nice in the right settings
