Curious though on how fast the rhino could get to it's top speed?

In a 40 yard dash both from a standstill, I think some may be able to stand a chance?

The thing is, the rhino.creates waves in thr ground which accelerates itself but slows for its.opponents. I dont think they top out, they simply get to you really quick. Plus animals reach speed from thr get go, its not like a human being where it takes a bit and then u top out and become exhausted. animals time things pretty good, its like when thry hunt, they just know the gap, the range, the speed.

I get that but I cant just imagine a Rhino lugging around a bit before gaining speed and momentum, it's still heavy with rather short legs. It's not like a puma or a cheetah that has the legs and are just built for a quick take off.

I clicked on the link and saw the vid and I never refuted not being able to outrun it. But I am still curious from a standstill if a person could outrun it in a 40 yard dash and that is why I asked it as a qurestion. I mean when he gets going he might be able to get to 30 mph but what if it takes him 50 yards, 100 yards, etc.. to get to that speed? Then someone might have a chance?

But yeah if the dude already has a rolling start then I'm just gon' be weaving left and right or make sharp turns and hope the rhino can't do it with it's weight or else I am dead. :lol:
