I'm so terrible, thanks for starting this. I want to dip out of work early and go die some more lmao :smokin

Lol Once you use the shortcut I described it will get better, I felt much better after skipping the long trip to the first boss. Its way less killing needed.

Fellas dont hesitate to post boss fights, just give a heads up for those who don't want the spoliers.

First boss the cleric beast save your Molotov's and if you have any oil urns save them as well. throw one oil urn first and Molotov's after it doubles the damage.

I can't believe I was right there to open the shortcut and I got stuck in those cabinets

Reposting this for anyone who didn't see it before.  Easy strat to get past those 2 wolves at the beginning before the cleric beast:

Lure them back into the house and use your R2 charge attack against them.  They can't actually get into the house so you can kill them pretty easily without getting hit.

After that the Orge and Crow walk slow, Molotov, it will prob kill the crows and R2 charge the Orge.

Hopefully gonna give the Blood Starved Beast another shot today.  I have to do a little resource grinding before I go back in and didn't have enough time to dedicate yesterday.  Gonna try the alternate strat using Pungent Blood - seems like he'll be a lot easier.

throw this in the first post would have saved me about 20 deaths from the start :smh:

3rd boss.  Didn't take me too long to get to him after I finished the 2nd one.

I beat the first boss Sunday, 2nd yesterday, didn't want to start and get to the 3rd yet being I was on such a hot streak lol.

Father gascoigne boss fight keep him behind the tombstones and swing and dodge back, but when he changes he will break the tombstones. After he changes you need to stay medium to close distance because if you get to far he will air lunge you.

Study Father's hit combos, and strike after he finished a combo. It's usually 2-3 if he misses you, but if he connects he'll get four hits in.

Yeah Father was way easier compared to Boss 1. I kept dying after he transformed, he hits hard. I farmed after like 3-4 close kills and put my HP up, killed him first try after that.

A tip for Father Gascoine
Talkable doors/windows are designated by a red lantern. You can actually find a flamethrower in Central Yahrnam in a window NPC. One such NPC will give you an item that can stun FG in his transformed phase.
Since certain bosses are skippable, I won't refer to them as countable. Thus..
One thing you need to do before killing the second boss (Vicar Amelia [the Cleric Beast and Blood Starved Beast are both optional bosses.]) is find Eileen, a crow-helmet wearing hunter who you can find first in the same area you find the Saw Spear. Speak to her multiple times to get all the items and gestures. Then once you get to the Cathedral Ward, kill the Blood Starved Beast, and open one of the gates with the 10000 Echo emblem, Eileen will now be outside one of the Ward doors. Talk to her until she talks about hunting a hunter, then backtrack to Tomb of Odeon (where you killed FG), and help her fight him. If she dies, you get a new weapon/armor set. If she survives and you kill the hunter, you'll get a rune and continue on her questline. That's as far as I've gotten on that tangent. Unfortunately didn't get her blades this playthrough yet, but I'm sure the questline will continue as I kill bosses.

I ran up and attacked Eileen the second I saw her.  This game got me too jumpy

(Also kind of wish they made friendly NPCs more distinguishable)

Was kinda blown at first but it's whatever, I was able to kill her anyway.  Thinking about farming the blood for her weapons but damn 40k is a lot for where I'm at in the game right now.

Beat the witch of hemwick last night Easiest fight so far tbh kirkhammer and holy blade destroyed her
