I remember only knowing about her after her death. They were playing her songs heavy the moment after she died but those joints you posted up there was :pimp:

She definitely would've went on to do big things. Sad she didn't get a chance to realize her full potential cause of some busta jealous mark crazy real life stan. Hope that old lady that killed her rots in hell.

Grew up with her music thanks to my sisters she was cool for her time. If she'd still be alive her career wouldn't be done tho. She's be considered the old style whatever it was she was doing.

Rip tho movie is still awesome

My mom was a big Selena fan when I was younger so I def listened to her music growing up. Love the movie too
 
I remember when the mexicans used to have they festival downtown they used to be bumpin selena heavy...And my dad was into her music for some reason...used to watch her performances on univision and had a vhs tape of her he used to watch... what i remember most is that selena was dumb thick...I remember walkin passed the tv when my dad was watchin some selena performaces and thinkin "goodt gawdt shorty is stacked!"..more body that jlo any day of the week..R.I.P.

I remember legitimately sobbing when I found out she was killed. It's a trip that JLo played her in the movie and it jump started her career because she would have been bigger than JLo cause she could actually sing. Damn, 20 years flies by. Rest in Heaven Selena
 
Damn man I remember like it was yesterday... 20 years it's crazy man. She is sorta like a myth/legend in the Mexican American community because of how things played out.
