After Tanaka gets waxed tonight, I hope it wakes the team up and he gets the surgery.

The offensive explosion last night shouldn't detract from how true this still remains. He wasn't sharp and expecting him to pitch through the discomfort/pain for another 200 innings this year for an extremely average ball club is going to end up doing more harm than good in the long run. This team will not be competing for anything this season, it makes zero sense for them to continue to put this surgery off.
