Yankees should just put Teix on the 15 day DL.

Why?

1. Allows them to get an extra 2 weeks on a September Call Up, and you don't use one of their MLB options because you won't have to send the guy back down, Teix would be back September 2nd.
2. Gives Teix 2 weeks off to not only make sure the bone bruise heals, but just rest his body. Then came back for the last 2 months.
3. We can have Bird, Headley & McCann play first base for 2 weeks, and be fine. Gets Bird extra time to play.

If we did this, the guy I would bring up is Robbie Refsnyder. He's going to be up in September. Might as well get him a couple extra games in.
