Do you let people borrow your car?

I have a problem letting anyone borrow something I know they can't afford to replace.

I feel like it would be irresponsible to let someone borrow it knowing they probably couldn't replace it. Same goes for me, I wouldn't borrow something I know I can't replace/repair.
 
Sounds bad but I have a few friends I'd consider letting them borrow my car before immediate family.

I know a story about a cat who let his "friend" borrow his 5 series. He said he was going to pick his moms up from the airport. The next day, cops bumrushed the car owner's crib and locked him up for armed robbery. Apparently, dudes "friend" used his car as a getaway vehicle for a jux, and surveillance tapes saw the car and license plates parked outside the store
 
I let a homie take my car one night after we left the club.
Called me back 20 mins later telling to report the car stolen.
Dude hit a train pole, wrecked my whip and left the car there.

I hope I don't ever run into him cause there's a good chance I'll get arrested that day.

Don't lend nobody your car that can't afford to pay for it.
 
Let my girl borrow it once to get to work cause hers was on E. Other than that, nah playa.
 
A few. You already touched on it. If they can replace it and aren't ******s they can use it. Mostly reserved for roommates if their car is in the shop or whatever.
 
If it's not a family member, nobody else is getting behind the wheel of my whip.

my dad's been using my car but that's as far as i'd go. wouldnt let a friend take it without me in it.

Let me tell you a story

I was heading to my friends house one night and my brother was driving his gf bros car

Asked him for a ride
He asked to tag Along so I was like cool

Meet up with two homies

Hoped in they whip to go smoke

So we smoking chillin laughin and all that

Decided to go back to the homies house to play 2k but we gotta grab the car we drive with

On the way back we see flashing lights coming towards up (car chase) so then it gets real

We hop in the car and start driving

I didn't notice we didn't have our lights on (my brother didn't either aaand he's driving)

Coming up in this curve in the road and I notice my brother ain't turning the wheel and we heading straight towards a lake so I start yell oh **** trying to grab the wheel

Brother finally snaps out of his high and notices what's happening and starts panicking

He grabs the wheel swerving and speeding up

Misses the lake , wraps car around tree. :smh:

I jumped out soon as the car stopped and check myself as if I'm checking if I got shot

Turn back to the car and see my brother dumbass still trying to drive the car , I'm like yo it's a wrap fam get out :lol:

My homie and my brother go out

We call the cops

Then his gf brother

I ended up having to do it and it went like this


Gf bro : hello

Me : "yo wasup fam I hotta holla at you man"

Gf bro : "wasup?"

Me : "look uh I don't know how else to tell you this but my brother crashed your car into a tree and we need to you to come over and get it towed."

Gf bro : (silence)......

Yea :lol:

Don't let people borrow your car.

Let my friend borrow my car in college once when i had class to get sum trees.

Son drove to atlanta spent the night and came back the next afternoon.
