DISNEYLAND/DISNEYWORLD APPRECIATION!!! PUT IN UR ORDER FOR AN NT DISNEY SPIRIT JERSEY NOW!!!

They must have closed late yesterday, there are some days when Disney closes at 6pm, I'd be mad if I had a day pass and they kicked me out that early.

What and where is the Jungle Book preview?

jungle book preview is in california, near bugs life / land .. i think lol

went to disneyland yesterday after work
app showed wait times were normal but we got there and the wait for most rides were about half what the app showed.

hit space mountain, path of the jedi, pirates, haunted mansion, chip n dale roller coaster, roger rabbit ride then ventured over to ca adventure and hit cars and watched the jungle book preview.

not bad for a thursday night
Damn, son.

That's almost a whole day worth of rides

It's over by a bugs life
It's like a bugs life theater or something
They always preview upcoming Disney movies
And it will be like a 4d experience
So water will drop on u
wind will blow on ur face
and seats will vibrate

I've seen a few previews there
Ant man
The good dinosaur
Zootopia are the ones I've seen there off the top of my head
Preview be like Only like 10-15 minutes

sweet, I might be able to go before the movie actually comes out next week

crowd probably isn't too bad either because of Harry Potter? I think i read that halfway through the day yesterday, they calculated about 29,000 visitors has been through that part of the park alone

I'm going to Disney World Orlando this weekend for the first time since I was about 8 or 9 years old. Last time I went they didn't have animal kingdom.

Last time I went, Hollywood studios was called MGM studios.

Last time I went... I was too scared to ride Space Mountain :smh:

I'm pretty excited about this weekend

Just to update, I had a fun time. It was my little cousin's first time there so we tried to make it special for him as a bug group. 4 parks in 2 days with a 9 and 13 year old was a challenge but we made it work.

Everest and the 7 dwarves mine carts are 2 of the most inventive and well thought coasters I had been on. Finally rode Space mountain and it was okay.

Didn't get to do everything (Splash Mountain) but I definitely had a good time and really enjoyed Animal Kingdom and Epcot especially. Will go again with that FL resident Annual Pass :pimp:

My 7 year old daughter loved the 7 dwarfs ride. This was our 3rd time at Disney world, still think the Aerosmith coaster is my favorite

Nah it's never full
It's like every 30-45 min a showing of it
It's like waiting for that EO theater or whatever by space mountain
Where it's never really full

I was until I found out that I was getting my Coast 2 Coast medal this weekend for running The Dark Side Half. If runDisney required another half to get that medal I would have run this race. Perfect weather to run a half down at DLR in November.

onto the Food & Wine Festival
foods were good, all I've tried were very good but as expected with Disney it is quite pricey, it'll fill you up though and they do taste like gourmet/upscale food
to improve I'd add more booths (they only had 6-7 while the one in Epcot had more than 3)
enjoy the food pics

Grilled Beef Tenderloin Slider with chimichurri sauce

Triple Cheese Mac with Smoked Chicken featuring Fontina, Cheddar and Gouda cheeses

I'm headed there this Sunday
I'm a see what's up
U try the cotton candy lemonade at cove bar yet???
Man I been thinkin bout that all week

Nah, didn't get a chance to, it was so hot and humid yesterday that and sweet drinks just made me thirstier.

By the way, line was almost non-existent for the booths but it is also the middle of the week.

Also don't forget to go to Blue Sky Lounge to get your button if you collect them, it's the only benefit you get as an AP member for the event.

First Look: Toy Story Land Attractions at Disney’s Hollywood Studios

View media item 2004328

Just minutes ago, we shared a sneak peek of what’s coming to Toy Story Land at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, including new details on the land’s attractions set to bring the world of Toy Story to life for you and your family.

In Toy Story Land, you’ll find yourself shrunk to the size of a toy to explore the world of Andy’s backyard with your favorite Toy Story characters, including Woody and Buzz. There are two new themed attractions being developed for Toy Story Land.

The first – Slinky Dog Dash – will be a family coaster attraction you’ll want to ride again and again. The attraction features a coaster track that Andy has built all over his backyard using his Mega Coaster Play Kit, but as you know, he has a pretty amazing imagination, so he’s combined it with some of his other toys, according to Imagineer Kathy Mangum. Take a look at a concept video of Slinky Dog Dash that Kathy shared earlier.

On Slinky Dog Dash, you will zip, dodge and dash around many turns and drops that Andy has created to really make Slinky and his coils stretch to his limits.

The second all-new attraction in Toy Story Land will be Alien Swirling Saucers. This attraction is designed as a toy play set that Andy got from Pizza Planet, inspired by the first Toy Story film. Aliens are flying around in their toy flying saucers and trying to capture your rocket toy vehicle with “The Claw.”

As you rotate around the toy planets and satellites as part of the game, you’ll swirl to the beat of fun “Space Jazz” music developed just for this experience, Mangum said. The music, the lighting, and the sound effects will add to the flurry of your adventure while “The Claw” looms ominously over you.

Also today, Mangum shared an update that beginning Memorial Day weekend, even more guests will be able to experience Toy Story Mania with the addition of a third track.

I saw a meme a while back & have always wondered if it was true...

Has anyone yelled "ANDY'S COMING" around the Toy Story characters :nerd:

I heard they drop when you do that :nerd:

Can anyone validate :nerd:

I can confirm when you see frozone at Disney California. Ask him "where's my supersuit?"

I have never been to DisneyWorld in Florida so i don't know how it is set up and if DisneyWorld, Epcot, Animal Kingdom and Disney Hollywood Studios are all separate parks or just separate lands. Others could probably tell you but I do wish that makes it to Disneyland here in California, gon' take a while though since we don't even know when Star Wars Lands opening.
