Harry Potter opened

Checked out universal yesterday, they have 2 rides at the HP land. One is garbage, but the other inside the castle is pretty decent. Most of the lines at Universal were about 15-25 min, except the Harry Potter one, which was 45min.

Heading to Disneyland next week, anyone suggest a weekday that has less people or is it pretty much the same?

During the week it closes early
On the weekends 11 and 12
But during the summer
It will close late all week
Some time during may I believe is when it changes I believe to late closing
Packing me and the fam stuff now

The Kylo Ren pics is in the Launch Bay right next to HyperSpace Mountain (which they converted to Star Wars theme), you do have to line-up for that photo-op but Chewbaccas there too. The whole Launch Bay is cool, you see props and several SW memorabilia.

I use both Disneys official app and the MouseAddict App, I like it that they list the attractions and you can arrange it by longest to shortest, I find it helpful though both apps wait times could vary by 10-15 minutes. Disneys app is real nice though and it tells you exactly where you're at in the map.

As for crowd, it's still going to be crowded but least is probably Tues, Wed or Thurs. My suggestion is just go whenever weather is better, it was hot and humid when I went last Wednesday and Grizzly River Run was closed

DL.... a gift and a curse.
Had an AP for 2 years. 4 premiums at 650 a pop was pricy. But after looking at when we went, the second year we went for 1 premium and 3 deluxe. (premium - free parking and extra discounts.) We never went during the blackouts, so the deluxe worked for us.

It was a trial run for us, these APs. We learned a lot. Gas, food, lodging for 1 trip was a lot. And we went every 3-4 months for 2-3 days. Was it worth it? Seeing the kids making memories, enjoying the park for the first time... priceless.

The highlight of going to Disney was going to Club 33. Before, if you had reservations the park entrance was free. (Assuming that your meal was equivalent to a park ticket.) Then after the price hike of 2012, they offered you discounted tickets if you had reservations. In total, I've been there 4 times. Lunch 3 times and once for dinner. The AYCE lunch is . The cold table of unlimited lobster, shrimp, sliced meats was worth it. Plus the main course and full bar..... The service is also impeccable. They since closed my access to 33 (job perk) but still wonder if I can make that call for one more visit....

Some pics of the last time I was there. Also, the décor, the architecture, the paintings inside was insane. Still (at the time) untouched and original to when they built it. I have not been back since they renovated it.

After reading through this thread, i'll be asking my two best friends to go this summer. it's looking like we are going to have at least $2,000 for expenses of plane tickets and to room for a week. Coming from Massachusetts.So i may need to bring $1,000 to live down there for a week to just eat, buy souvenirs, and party.

I've never been on a plane before and the farthest i've been to is Virginia.

Report: Guardians of the Galaxy Ride To Replace Iconic Disney Attraction in California

How will Disney bring Marvel into their theme parks? It looks like, at least in part, by reinventing existing attractions with a Marvel twist.

Nerdist reports that Disney may opt not to renew their Twilight Zone license when it expires in California, and may instead rework the Tower of Terror attraction at Disneyland as a Guardians of the Galaxy ride.

The report claims that the change is unlikely to carry over to the other ride locations in Disney’s Hollywood Studios in Florida, Tokyo DisneySea or Walt Disney Studios Park in Paris.

As of late 2015, a Tower of Terror movie was reportedly in development -- but the Twilight Zone element of the Tower were downplayed in the previous TV movie adaptation of the ride, so it's likely that wouldn't be a key part of a feature follow-up anyway.

Me & my lady have been AP here at Disney World for over 3 years now...

Definitely one of the best things I've ever purchased.

I usually like to make it out to one of the parks at least once a week.

Epcot is my favorite park, by far.

If anyone needs any recommendations on places to eat at Disney...just ask, I've been to a lot since I have the Tables in Wonderland discount, which is 20% off almost all restaurants including alcohol.

they better not get ride of the actual mechanic of the ride
They can change the theme or whatever
