DISNEYLAND/DISNEYWORLD APPRECIATION!!! PUT IN UR ORDER FOR AN NT DISNEY SPIRIT JERSEY NOW!!!

I know that Star Wars Land isn't exactly about that deal but it certainly played a role in it. I mean $1billion and i think it has to be all spent by like 2025? I am sure that all of those comes into play.

As for tiered pricing, my analysis but I do believe Disney isn't actually trying to get people to go on cheaper, less busy days, I think that's a marketing ploy. It was mainly to boost attendance on less busy days, they know that most who buy one-day pass are those travelling or will go no matter what.

Those that are more intrigued on going on cheaper days are locals and those who may not consider going because price is high but once they see there's a discounted day then they go and I believe it is working due to the higher than expected attendance.

And guest experience are suffering because of all the cut backs. You'll also notice that they started cutting the hours short so not only the parks extra packed but also by having less workers in the park, not to mention closure of other stores and restaurants. I believe the CEO demanded a $500m cut back on all Disney Parks this year and that is mainly why the guest experience are suffering but hey you wouldn't know by the attendance numbers.

That 1 Billion plus is almost all going to be satisfied with Star Wars Land , they knew what they were doing. Tax breaks while build something that was already in the works.

Those budget cuts are thanks to Shanghai.

Just like all the previous budget cuts and them shelving a lot of projects was due to the expense and failure of the FastPass+ rollout at Disneyworld.

Ill read that at break.

From what I've read from places that have inside sources, it points to Shanghai.

Soarin' Over the Horizon in Disney Shanghai (I believe the one in the US will be updated to this in June of July)

Hong Kong Disney was $50 USD per person when we and my wife went in March.

Albeit half the size....at least we saw those doll women with big eyes and dressed like catholic school girls.

Everything just loses it's magic for me since it's not in english. I've watched ride videos from Paris, Hong Kong, Shanghai, and Hong Kong and it's just not the same.

Might be one of the rides that could be placed in DCA once the Tower of Terror becomes a GotG ride?

Marvel’s Iron Man Experience set to open late 2016 in HK Disneyland

Finally! After getting so ecstatic about the latest installment from the Avengers series Captain America: Civil War, kids and kids-at-heart will get to enjoy one of the first Marvel ride-through attractions in Hong Kong Disneyland late this 2016 as HK Disneyland recently announced that ride system tests have begun for Marvel’s Iron Man Experience.

It doesn’t matter which side you are on, but we’re sure even non-Iron Man fans will love the Disney experience when cult favorite Mr. Stark finally ushers in the Stark Expo, Tomorrowland’s new Marvel-themed area where interactive activities await the eager market. Visitors can experience how it is like to be in the iron suit in the interactive experience “Become Iron Man.”

Before guests get to challenge the evil forces of Hydra, the experience begins when the energetic billionaire industrialist and inventor Tony Stark (aka Iron Man) decides to bring the Stark Expo to Tomorrowland at Hong Kong Disneyland. From here on, one can imagine the adventures that will follow next.

Just like in the movies, guests can visit the Expo and explore the latest and greatest innovations from Stark Industries. Tourists can then go aboard an Iron Wing vehicle, the latest flying transport invented by Stark Industries, and journey through Hong Kong’s streets, which will look like the West Kowloon and Causeway Bay.

During the ride, familiar landmarks will be seen in the attraction like the Tsing Ma Bridge, the city’s pristine mountain ranges, iconic urban taxis and the harbor front. But the ride won’t be as smooth as expected because the guests will battle against the forces of Hydra.

Marvel’s Iron Man Experience is estimated to have cost more than $100 million to build. With the amount of money and effort put into it, fans will definitely get the experience of a lifetime – with everyone waiting for the time when it finally opens to welcome its first riders.

Also, Frozen opens today.

A few weeks ago was the first time I ever got to visit Dland and be 21+ and be reckless with my spending and have friends who were calculated in the way we were riding the attractions. We were there for like...12-13 hours. I couldn't imagine how people do this more than once a year lol I was so glad to rest when I got back.

Those corndogs are the truth

What in the actual hell? How did you get that?

I forgot to post in here about the Frozen production when I came back earlier this week. It's definitely more eye-appealing in terms of visual effects, but it could definitely have been done a little better. It seemed sloppy at times in the beginning, the transitioning of scenes wasn't very smooth and the prop placement had me smirking and smh. It picked up in the 2nd half of the show, which is an hour long compared to Aladdin's 40 minutes, and the acting itself wasn't terrible. The only things I can say that I miss from Aladdin are the Genie's jokes (which at times can be forced) and Jasmine's midriff

Genies jokes were the best and it's pretty much different every visit (assuming you don't go every day that is  ) and up to current events.

They also have Spidey and Cap at DCA now, GotG will soon to follow.

Really wish they kept California exclusive to Soarin at DCA or at least switch it every ride like Star Tours and planets

Bummer. I loved the Aladdin production.

Frozen is a good film, but not that interested in it.
