The buyers email right after that "payment"

Have make the payment via paypal and i just receive a notification from paypal that the

Lately I've noticed this sophisticated scam...

Buyer pays, and requests a refund saying they'll pay with another CC

They never pay

About a month later they'll ask when I'm going to ship the item.....

I got to admit I've been confused. But have never sent an item.

I don't ship to or make deals with anyone international.

And if the person doesn't utilize at least basic grammar, don't even message them back.

I think I just got scammed.

I just fell for this, sent off some VNDS Infrareds USPS Priority Express Int. Then I checked the email I thought was sent by Paypal on Google and was brought here 

I have zero sympathy for anyone who gets scammed by these tactics. You gotta be a damn fool to fall for this stuff.

How do they disguise the email as a PayPal email?

Even if you're not tech savvy.. With the amount of information available on the internet you shouldn't be falling for these scams.

If it's not in your PayPal account don't send. Simple as that. People need to start reading policies; even FAQs pages at the minimum. Most PayPal does regarding restrictions is preventing you from withdrawing the funds until shipped. It'll still show in your account.

But I don't sell internationally unless it's going to a military post.

The broken english always cracks me up in these scams. The paypal email almost looks legit if it weren't riddled in grammatical errors

They pull these stunts because they perceive most Americans to be dumb and gullible. I don't blame them for at least throwing their bait out there

Basically. 

I remember I sold an old Sony phone on Amazon and some dude messaged me and tried to scam me about how he submitted payment and already paid. Smh.
