Of course. It's dirty and poverty stricken. Cats out in those parts of jersey have no choice but to get gully. There isn't really another option. I don't glorify violence. Jersey is just violent. When it comes to style and flavor, New Jersey isn't seeing NY.

Redman and Naughty by Nature put Jersey on the map. New Jersey Drive was a good movie that put Jersey on. So yea Jersey has its own good thing, but its in a different class than NY. NY is the all star team, Jersey is a team with some very good players, but never made it to the finals because all their players can't get past the metal detectors in the gym

I'll be visiting next month.

I'm staying in Williamsburg. I've been told it's a pretty nice area.
 
san från is a poor man's williamsburg without da hills and everything closing at 2 am. you'll have fun there b.
 
if you're young check out whiskey brooklyn, Spritzenhaus, output if you like to go clubbing, berry park, calexico if your into mexican food and having a couple of drinks.
 
Go to brooklyn bowl at nighttime on the weekend. The best drunk bowling experience ever. Good food, live band.

But the point is still the same. There's no special nyc behavior that will stop the robbery. A mark is a mark anywhere.

It's not like people are coming on vacation to the pink houses. If you visiting family in the pink houses you will be robbed... by your family.
 
Do's and don't's easy

"Do" yourself a favor and cop tickets to anywhere in Cali

"Don't" go to Ny

Problem solved
 
Cop a ticket to cali if you wanna go to a second rate city in la or sf and have to calculate your water usage. NY the Mecca god. Just mind your business and don't look shook. If you see somebody getting beat down including women keep it moving b don't even look.
