I through episode 9 & ep 10 next on deck.

Really like this series. I wish I had more time to blow through it.

I like D'Onofrio playing King Pin, but I chuckle sometimes because he makes certain facial gestures that reminds me of his roles in Full Metal Jacket & MIB.

Man, King Pin's Vanessa is :smokin... She be wearing that white...

I appreciate the way the wrote Fisk & the way D'Onofrio is playing him. He carries himself like a good guy. You almost feel sorry for him because of his childhood/pain/psychosis...

You guys think his costume will be different in season 2?

I expect that it will...the guy who made it did say that it wasn't 100% finished.

Got done watching really enjoyed it.I liked the first half better imo and like people said complete 180 from Ben Affleck daredevil.

final suit was disappointing (especially since his black suit was DOPE AF) but the show was 5 stars good.

recommending it to everyone I know, which means its a winner IMO.

I think it'll differ slightly and have "DD" on his chest.

I wonder if they will actually call him Daredevil or just keep calling him Devil for a while. Wondering who will give him the DD name as well.

The papers in the end gave him the name so I think that's what they call him from here on out.

I haven't seen him in that but he's been solid on The Good Wife as a drug kingpin.

He's also recently taken the role as head of the FBI in NYC on the serial killer show The Following as a supporting character. His character even got this one good eye Nick Fury thing going on the show.

Finally finished the season & I really really liked it. Might be my favorite Marvel venture so far (not that it's saying that much as I only really liked GotG, Cap 2, & IR1). Yes, there are faults though small like it's slightly predictable but overall the sum of it's parts are greater than those faults.

I love the emotional center that drove the series, the story itself & for each of the characters. I love how heavily it was influenced by Frank Miller's DD, the dark, grimey Hell's Kitchen. All water towers, rooftops, looming skyscrapers, dark alley ways, fire escapes, etc. Also loved how it got inspiration from other sources like the Old Boy flick for fight scenes.

I think a huge part of why I thought it was successful was just like NBC's Hannibal. It had numerous episodes to tell the story & flesh out characters. I thought the casting was spot on, I even liked Foggy. Everyone should have a friend like Foggy. :smokin

I wasn't sure about having established actors like Vondie Curtis-Hall & D'Onofrio but both played their characters with nuanced performances.

Lastly, I loved the score for the series. This is so often overlooked in movies & especially TV. I loooooved the use of Nessun Dorma for the opening of the season finale. It really lent itself to the emotional roll out of the climatic ending. In short, I thought it was perfect coming from someone who loves music.

Anyone notice though, the opening theme intro of Daredevil is reminiscent of House of Cards?

I can't wait for season #2 & also if Punisher gets off the ground.

Fisk voice is so annoying

oggy and the blond are also annoying

I dont know why they had to kill my boo wesley

Finally finished the series.

The series started off really well, then some episodes in the middle were kinda ehh, and I liked the last episode.

Some scenes were too long and could've been shortened

Almost everyone was perfectly cast

Had no problems with Foggy like some people do

I wanted to like Fisk, I was on the fence with D'osorio's performance the whole time, but by the end, I wasn't really like, wow - he was a great villain. I will say this, the speech he had at the end about the Good Samaritan was really cool.

Didn't like the final costume.

I'd give the whole series a 9/10.

I liked the way the writers wrote Fisk. Despite coming from Hells Kitchen, he became cultured, etc being able to speak several languages. They made him slightly likable too (sympathetic character).

Although I liked as the season rolled out for me, I appreciated D'Onofrio's performance more after watching the season finale. There was a quiet fury about him.

I liked Vondie Curtis-Hall too. I liked that you saw this grisly old cagey vet of a writer but also a broken man. I almost suspected he knew his end was coming soon.

Damn, I didn't know Charlie Cox was British...

the question that really needs to be answered at the end of each review is:

Will you recommend it to your Friends?

I did :smokin

Rewatched the continuous filmed fight scene from episode 2. Very good.

Ledger as the Joker is the pinnacle of villain performances in a comic book adaptation. IMO, Vincent D'onofrio as Wilson Fisk comes in 2nd. His performance was that good.
