DD S2 is the best so far that's for sure.

I didn't love this portrayal of Elektra but on the unexpected side I ended up being satisfied with this portrayal of the Punisher.
Punisher parts alone made this season ... along with that 3rd villain ....

Overall season was dragged down for me because of Elektra but overall season was still sick and DD is the best show out right now...

Bang!

I could see kingpin overlapping and playing a big role in other series..

The hand could be injected and play a huge role in iron fist.. Then you got madam gao

If they could get Farrell in the bullseye role again, he could be a reaction to everything that happened with the Irish mob in season 2

Presume punisher will be injected to the other series to some degree

D'Onofrio is great as Kingpin. I would love to see him in the upcoming Spidey film, but because of how much more mature DD on Netflix is compared to what's probably going to be a PG or PG-13 Spidey film with a young lead, they would have to tone him down and it wouldn't be in line with what the character has done on the show.

I'd love to see him in the film.. But I wouldn't want him to have too signifigant of a role

Well I lie, for the Spiderman franchise would love to see him in a behind the scenes kind of role.. Providing financing for oscorp to develop stuff to combat what he's dealing with on his end

Have his people put pressure on Osborn those when they can't deliver which triggers stuff

Something like that

dude talking about no killing yet he has a pistol in one hand and a chain with a wrench in the other hand landing nothing but headshots

even if he didnt kill anyone at least 5-7 dudes in that fight are now vegetables
A life is a life and being a vegetable is technically still living

I actually loved that DD started to struggle a bit with the idea of killing or letting Frank kill when he started to realize how pointless his efforts was after meeting with Fisk and getting slammed some sense in to him.

Even Frank was like nah I can't let you cross that line red and sent him for that full body wash to clear his mind.

My only thing is he should've realized the Hand ninja were not truly living or undead. That way he can let completely loose on them.

I could def see D'Onofrio in the spiderman film or it sequels. He's already garnered acclaim for his portrayal as Kingpin so him in spiderman would only increase viewing of the film. I could see a web being shot in his face and him spazzing out or comical banter between him and spiderman. It would Marvel leagues ahead of the competition by having their TV actors seamlessly connected to their movie actors.

....besides what are the Defenders without Dr. Strange :nerd:

Dude was in denial of the Hand the whole series. I thought that was going to be their leeway or work-around DD killing but they didn't go that route, at least not yet.

Was honestly expecting Elektra to just tell Matt that he could cut loose on Hand ninjas. Instead you have her slitting one's throat in front of him and her running off and ****. :smh: ***** get your fine *** back here.

But that's a big thing for Daredevil, toeing the line between killing and not killing, so I can't really be mad at it.

Far more suited to the netflix realm. Same for Silver Surfer and Hulk.

But it takes place in the same universe. The same universe where the battle of New York was just 15-20 miles north. Iron Fist will cushion the supernatural wackiness as well.

When Elektra had her heel on Sweeney's throat in episode 5 :wow: :wow: :wow: :wow:

Not really about the supernatural. It's about the fact that Doctor Strange, Silver Surfer, and Hulk operate far above Daredevil and the rest's paygrade. Those are A-listers and the rest are C, maybe B on a great day. Doc Strange is a guy that protects the universe from demons who control their own dimensions and **** on a daily basis  Son doesn't need to be hanging out at Matt Murdock's failing law firm.

Though i'm definitely open to any cameos that do take place between the films and shows, and still support Hawkeye getting his own show once the Defenders are all set up.

Don't let Feige's obsession with Stephen Strange sway the fact that Dr. Strange was never an A-list marvel hero. Matt has way more rank than Stephen. JJ, Luke Cage Amd Danny, yeah their a notch below strange but Strange comics were struggling for the longest. Hulk of course is top tier Marvel and Fox has a death grip on FF rights :frown:

But there should be a second phase of Marvel Netflix shows after the Defenders. We should've been had some type of reference to Namor especially with Civil War coming up...or is Universal still death gripping those rights too? :nerd:

I wanted Punisher to eliminate them ninjas in the finale, the set up was perfect for him to go to work.

I agree with jays25.. But that's why hawkeye and BW doing some of the stuff they have them involved with kinda bothers me

Like I think having BW in the role she had in IM2 and WS works.. Not overly excited to see her and hawkeye in on that frontline shot and them running towards dudes with actual powers and/or powered suits

Strange's powers and MCU's limitations because of property ownership, moves him into the potential of being on that frontline

In terms of treatment within the comics and actual power, Doctor Strange has always been an A-List character, which is what i'm talking about. Same with Dr. Fate over in DC. Now neither has had the most successul comic series, but that doesn't change the fact that they operate above the likes of Daredevil and Batman and therefore wouldn't fit in a regular setting hanging out with those guys.

Namor honestly doesn't fit in with this batch of Defenders either no matter who has the rights. They're all really being set up as street levelers, where someone like Hawkeye would fit in, but not someone like Doctor Strange whose hopping through dimensions or Namor who rules an underwater kingdom and can fight the Hulk.

Agreed on the idea that they should set up a second wave of shows, just like they did with the films, once the Defenders are set up.

IATT IATT I'd watch the hell out of a super spy Black Widow show :smokin

^ that would work.. Like seeing her obtain infiltrate hydra or AIM or something.. Just seeing her get deeper in that world to obtain info.. Deal with threats bigger than her..

Would be James Bond with a 'rogue one' kinda story..

But they gotta realize the limitations of the only human characters and work to their strengths

Who was A-list in the comics really doesn't matter anymore.

Ant-Man got more movie name recognition than the netflix heroes at this point.

Makes no sense to add Strange to the Defenders. They've made it pretty clear that's a street level team now.

Namor aint showing up in the MCU any time soon just like Wolverine I would figure and I don't think there's any desire to bring him in really. That might change but not soon.

I think there's still conflicting reports on who owns Namor at this point, probably similar to Hulk where he could in an ensemble film but a solo flick just isn't happening unless the studio who has the rights makes it themselves or something.

I'm just not sold on what threat is small enough to where they create this incarnation of the Defenders to be only street level marvel heroes but big enough to where they all have to team up and use their combined efforts. I just feel like they've established that these street heroes are aware of what the Avengers dealt with in terms of the Chitauri invasion. I need Shield to be watching them. I need Nick Fury in one of these shows.
