I'm just not sold on what threat is small enough to where they create this incarnation of the Defenders to be only street level marvel heroes but big enough to where they all have to team up and use their combined efforts.

Yep. Daredevil didn't exactly take them down this season. They've now got Elektra in their corner as well. Could easily see them taking on the Defenders as a whole. Especially if they used a high powered member from the comics like Gorgon.

I just feel like they've established that these street heroes are aware of what the Avengers dealt with in terms of the Chitauri invasion. I need Shield to be watching them. I need Nick Fury in one of these shows.

I havent watched the newest Walking Dead ep yet, so guess what...i wont go in the Walking Dead thread. If there was an AMC tv show thread, i would expect not to be spoiled. You dont know when people watch stuff. Change the thread title.

I kinda lost interest after the Punisher stopped being the main focus of the show. The second half of the season was dull to me; I feel like they could have done better on making them seem like an actual evil presence capable of destroying the city and explaining more about the "weapon" (but that's probably gonna be more of the focus in Season 3). Fisk was a much more entertaining villain to me

One thing I wish is they'd let us know when the time period for all of these seasons are. It's definitely after Avengers and before AOU but I'm wondering has IM3 happened yet? TWS?

As for the ending, yeah they botched it with Frank not coming through with the heavy grade gatling gun to wipe out some ninjas. Matt said it was an army. They literally showed at least 50 coming from above and below but on the roof they fight about 15-20 and Frank just snipes a few. It would've just been great to seem him wipe out like 100 of them until his ammo was done. Throw him off a roof and then show him doing the sniping.

Exactly what would be talked about in a Marvel netflix thread if not the Marvel netflix shows?

If you haven't seen DD S2 yet, don't come in the thread.

You should treat all the Marvel netflix series as one show and DD S2 would be S3 overall of what's all going to converge in to one thing in 2018.

In terms of powers, no he's not. Matt Murdock isn't about to go out and fight Magneto or Apocalypse. No one is saying "Man I wish Daredevil was here" when they're facing some major threat.

OP just update the thread to say spoilers even though you have to figure that after the weekend a lot of people have at least put a good dent in the show if not finished it already. i could understand those watching CBB tourney instead ... it was a sports packed weekend ... it is what it is though if you came into the thread before finishing and not expecting at least one spoiler ....

I havent been spoiled, but i fear i will. So now i cant come in here and discuss anything because ive been threatened. Its all good. I like pacing my binge watching. Ill be back in a few weeks after i finish JJ and Daredevil.

When I was on episode 5 I would come peek in here and seen some spoilers and walked right back out. Now that I'm done with the season I'm back in it. Take a time out from this thread and wade through the inevitable 20+ pages of discussion and catch up

I wanted Punisher to eliminate them ninjas in the finale, the set up was perfect for him to go to work.

Man they missed this opportunity. Everything felt like they were leading up to it. Almost felt like it was planned, but they changed their mind.
