But man Luke Cage has been pretty underwhelming. I mean a few episodes especially 1& 2 I had to stop and rewind or replay multiple times just to get into the series

Even episode 4 where they go into Luke's origins back story I fell asleep half way through that episode and had to rewind

Still though I'm fighting through and trying to finish season 1 before Iron Fist starts on the 17th.

it starts slow, builds up, slows down, back up, slows back down.


The production/acting/writing could have been better, i believe we can all agree, however at the end of the day, when you reach to that last minute of the last episode you just seem to....appreciate it and smile






...unlike those shows where you ask yourself, "can i have my time that i wasted on this back at all? WTF?

Luke Cage is the weakest of the shows so far. The second half of its season was a mess and could've been better.

Its DD season 2 > season 1 > JJ > Luke Cage.

No idea yet where Iron Fist would fit in.

Will say that Luke Cage had the dopest trailer out of all the shows. The IF trailers have done nothing for me.

Word. And it's not even close.

Yea, I didn't mind Diamondback as a secondary villian but giving him the shine was the wrong move. They could've used the sibling element w/o giving him the spotlight. They could have developed the character and then prepped him for Season 2, or at least the first half and then the second half to Mariah

I agree, LC was weak to me but the amount of black power it carried made it "better"

I have no clue how IF will be but I didn't with JJ and loved it all so I can't wait

I just wanna know if the writers wrote the characters of shades and diamondback thinking the show was a comedy. Their characters were so bad. It's like it's mandatory to put a couple of silly or awful characters into each marvel netflix series.

the writing with cottonmouth was great but the diamondback plot was not up to par. I am excited for IronFist.

Looking back, they didn't have to cover Luke's full origin in S1.

Could've kept it street crime NYC villains.

Then tackle his origin in s2 and then revisit his whole framed for murder issue.

Yea I agree. They did not have to bring in Diamondback for season 1. Everything about the show felt rushed once Diamondback was fully introduced.

That's an understatement. They're straight slamming the show. Yikes.

I kinda feel sorry for Finn Jones. He's receiving a lot of backlash. If you want to be mad that they casted a white man, go after the ppl who casted him, not the actor.

He's just acting, man lol

Not falling for the bad reviews of Iron Fist. Lots of these reviewers wanna be the first to get their opinion out there and Iron fist is a character that not a lot of people are familiar with. Unless you know that his back story is wacky and meant to be an exaggeration of America's obsession with king fu in the 70's, you'd be quick to scratch your head. Also, I feel like a review doesn't hold merit if you've only seen the first 6 episodes
