Also, what incident was the doctor talking about when he said more people are claiming they have powers?

I believe "The Incident" in the Marvel Universe refers to when the Avengers fought the Chitauri in the first Avengers movie.

Also, I'm at episode 5 right now and Danny is getting more tolerable, maybe even likeable. Time will tell though.

Watched episode 1 last night. Other than the cringey scene with Danny hijacking ol boy's benz, I like the show a lot.

On episode 5, guess it picks up at 4 because that was the best episode so far

Ward dude looks like a cross between white dude from Power and Fred Armisen

My son Bunker from Banshee. Show y'all should check out if you haven't watched yet.

On episode 3 and it is a slow burn but I don't mind. **** I watched Rectify.

I'm on episode 2 and I'm enjoying it so far, but this is coming from someone that doesn't really know anything about the iron fist comics.

On episode 6. Unless things change this show is looking like the worst of the bunch. I expected the fighting to be much better. Claire just popped up so maybe she helps out some

Lol. Will watch when I get home from work in a little over an hr....

This thread plus rotten tomatoes dropped my expectations so hard lmao

I'm flabbergasted that marvel can drop the ball this hard.

It's not bad. The only subpar aspect is the action from IF. And actually from the first few episodes, the action improved.

I can understand the "boring" complaints if you expected nothing but Kung Fu action.

Who's in charge of the fight scenes for this? they're ok for a network tv show. It's really not bad so far, just a bit dull. This is the first I may take a break and go watch some games.

All this Hand build up throughout the seasons I thought the story would shine, unless they're saving that for Defenders.

The dudes who do the scenes for John Wick would've done this justice. But I swear Wick did at least 32 arm bar take downs tho

Dude.

They purposely choreographed Danny to move like this.

It's on purpose.
It's kind of tight tbh.
He's like two steps ahead on every move, literally and literally.

He is so in touch with his chi, that he knows what's coming, so he just dances into place or out of the way.

I mean that's what I'm thinking because Colleens scenes are straight and the elevator scene was cool.

I'm only on episode 2 but I'm into it. Maybe it's the mystical/martial arts thing. Yes it is a slow burn but I like it. Not sure what the critics were looking at.

It's definitely on purpose. I noticed in the first fight scene in ep 1 when he wrestled the Black guard and had the White guy hemmed already and he moved his arm which held a Billy club into place to block the Black guys Club way before he even swung his club.

He's just that far ahead in his mind, he moves slow and is still too fast

Out of the 4, it isn't the strongest, but yeah the critics definitely goofed.

Yea this show might still end up the weakest of the four. But I think I'll still enjoy watching it..

I wonder what it is that makes the critics hate the show so much
