So far it seems like this show is unnecessarily vilified.

after episode 3, it looks like their fights are slow and awkward, you can tell they have no prior martial arts training and it kind of kills the visuals by not letting stunts do the choreography

series is intriguing enough and alright

Rand is so damn weak though that it's annoying

Yeah a-friend is definitely suspending the hell outta disbelief saying the fight scenes are just 2 steps ahead, not slow.

I think this is one show that would've been really great if it was shortened to 8-10 episodes. Why they gotta be married to the number 13? Lol

Anyway...two episodes in and this show is just fine.

The biggest complaint I have so far is pacing but a lot of shows have pacing issues, and maybe dude who got casted as Ward Meachum (he's really dislikable)... Really not seeing where the hate is coming from

Fight scene in episode 4 was normal speed.
He was fighting eleven guys though. Can't be dancing into place nah mean

They should've just used the same choreographers from DD. So far, the fight scenes are my only issue. And the usual 13 episodes. They should try 11 and use a little more on the cgi because it's been off at times

I can't say much about the choreography yet because I'm only two episodes in.

I don't really have complaints about the fighting yet. If the issue is that his fighting looks effortless, I think that's the point.

4 eps in and overall the quality of this is on par with the other 3 series. Critics failed here. Can't call this trash at all even if you want to say it's the weakest of the 4.

Yes the action could be way better just comparing it to DD. That first fight with the guards was TOO telegraphed. Wasn't even about it being slow just so obvious if you're gonna keep using arm locks to pause the flow of the fight.

I'm digging Colleen's fight scenes so far. She put in work in that cage match even with that camera work trying to hide ****. I'll talk more on her later but seems they got an actress that can really act for this role.

As for Danny it is clear with his power he aint gonna punch no hole through some thugs with guns or mental patients.

Defi Italy a slow burn but more importantly they didn't just throw out some mystical martial arts rich guy at you. They're doing serious character work on Danny Rand and the supporting cast. I like it. On some some stuff the early comics only touched on before he was teamed up with Luke.

Finishing ep 5 now and I can't wait for 7, I will end it there for the night and probably fall asleep while 8 is rolling.

Show is fly though.
