Is the hand one of iron fist's main enemies too? It seems like they would be. Guess a hand a fist should be.

He definitely has run-in's with the Hand. Can't even imagine how dope those fights are going to be like on Iron Fist. I hope they have a stunt double for Danny who can do crazy martial arts moves, but I really hope Finn Jones can at least fight a little bit.

Man if you touched anything from anywhere in an Asia country in the Marvel Universe, you've dealt with the hand. Wolverine has dealt with them too. I still like to dream that the ninjas in his movie was the hand.

Do ya'll think they may make a reference with Jessica Drew in Daredevil or Luke Cage. I think it would be dope to introduce SpiderWomen. That way it also leads into Hydra for them to join Avengers or Shield

Considering that there have been like 4 different Spider-Women and one extremely popular Spider-Girl it'd be interesting to see which ones Sony owned and which they didn't, if any.

Can they use Spider-Woman? Does she fall into Sony's licenses? I'm not sure.
Even though it don't make sense, it might be a QS/SW situation.

Hasn't been a lot of talk of if she'll be used in the movies. It's why I wish SONY had already announced who their solo female Marvel movie was gonna be focused on. Had they said Spider-Gwen, Black Cat, Silver Sable, or Spider-Girl it would've implied they can't use Spider-Woma imo. I would've then wondered why she aint in the MCU already.

You would think but not one of his main enemies. He got a whole other group of highly skilled fighters that are his enemies (Steel Serpent and his goons, other Immortal weapons, etc.). As already mentioned he has run in to them though.

They probably own Mattie Franklin, the evil Spider-Woman, Mayday Parker, and maybe even Anya (another Spider-Girl).

Did the endless amount of the hand ninjas remind anyone else of all the footclan soldiers the tmnt would own in their movies? The chaste is taking their sweet time in fighting the hand. Their troops in NY were Stick, Elektra, and I think those 2 guys Elektra killed.

Just finished DD Season 2. Dear gawd almighty, that was great :smokin

If Luke Cage and Iron Fist's show is on this same caliber, by the time Defenders come around I might have the same feeling of anticipation that I had for the Avengers!

The season is easily the best out of season 1 and JJ's.

I didn't find myself hating Fisk as much. He was such a bad *** when he snapped his cuffs in half and gave Matt the hands.

The Punisher was great. If they give him his own show, I'd watch!

Loved Elektra. I didn't know where they were going with her at first. I thought she was just some spoiled dame that liked to do stupid **** but then I felt she grew as the show went on. i'm glad that it seems her story is not done yet. Was crazy disappointed when I thought she 'died'

Foggy was super whiny and neediest sob I've ever met. I do like that he's working for that ***** now. I've been waiting for more of the netflix characters to crossover.

Karen was great. Always liked her.

The season was structured pretty weirdly. I went into it thinking the whole season was going to be about Punisher. Then they brought in the Hand and then suddenly he became a side plot. That caught me off guard. But I don't think this season had as many dead spots as season 1 or JJ. I felt like pretty much every episode held my interest equally.

The only real complaint I have is Foggy being annoying and it was weird that Stick went through the trouble of saving Elektra from the poison only to decide to try to kill her later. They didn't really get into why he suddenly made up his mind about killing Elektra either.

That's really all I have to say. 7.5/8 for me. In comparison, DD season 1 is a 7/8 and JJ a 7/8.

*edit

Just been skimming through the last couple of pages just now and I feel what you guys are saying about Matt's pragmatism. You literally live in a universe where the city survives an alien invasion and you don't believe in an upcoming supernatural war

Yeah i'd be surprised if they didn't own Mayday, but also doubt they'll ever use her :smh: Damn shame.

Mattie Franklin...now there's a character they never let live up to her potential. Killing her off like that. :smh: Was extremely disappointed.

Honestly completely forgot that Anya even existed

I'd hope at the least that Sony didn't own every Spider-Woman/Girl. Think that Marvel could do big things if one of them was given a Netflix show. :smokin Jessica Drew can naturally tie into SHIELD, HYDRA, and The Avengers, but Julia Carpenter's no slouch either, especially if they're trying to set up more obscure teams.

Just finished.

Season was cool.
All over the place though. Needed more Punisher and less everything else. Way way way to much happened.

Edit: I thought there was a hidden sneak peek of Luke Cage after the last ep?

Netflix should've automatically shown it to you unless you closed the window or jumped to another site right away

My dude Melvin needs to hook him up with some gear. It must suck gettig bullet holes in your Carhartt jacket all the time.

 We could have a whole other discussion about the wasted potential of Mattie Franklin :smh: While she debuted in not the most popular Spidey run she got her powers in a cool way based off magic, got a dope costume, cool spider limbs, and she got dropped when the new creative team came on. Only shows back up in Slott's run to die as a sacrifice or w/e :smh:

Then somewhere in the middle they create Anya whose powers are magic based as well and she eventually gets overshadowed too (by Spider-Gwen). I only remember her cuz she was in Spider-Verse and is in the spinoff book of that now.

Good chance MCU has Jessica Drew when I think about it more unless SONY got everything spider related. Thing is I think there's a good chance that solo female movie is gonna be a spider character too.

True, but it's kind of Luke Cage's thing that he just goes out and fight's in regular clothes

That's what i'm saying! Mattie Franklin's a character/concept that's like a diamond in the rough type deal. Her entire setup was interesting as hell, and then they just never really did anything with her. Terrible waste :smh: I also hate when characters just vanish like that because teams change. If the MCU owned her and wanted to use another spider character, who is already around Pete's age anyways she could fit.

If the MCU has her I wouldn't be surprised at a Jessica Drew film at all though. Dr. Strange might change things once his film's out, but Drew fits the more science-type vibe they've been going with so far. Though it might really depend on how the 2017 Spider-Man film goes. Drew might also be the most popular/well-known Spider-Woman/Girl. Not really sure (Well i'm positive it isn't Mattie  Because Marvel never gave her the exposure she deserved) Think what they will or won't do really depends on their vision for things after Infinity War.

We know they've got Inhumans planned, which is already taking a step into an aspect of the Marvel U that people aren't too familiar with (And the closest Marvel has to the X-Men )

Her being J. Jonah's niece (technically) made it all the better for story potential

Marvel was buggin then though. This is coming off the Clone Saga and right when the bubble burst and they needed to be bailed out selling movie rights to everybody :smh:

Drew is the most popular Spider-Woman by default  Marvel never really put a lot work in any others solo adventures. It was Drew's run and then the other female Spider-Woman in the Venom costume that was in the Avengers (west coast).

MCU is getting that success off name brand recognition though which is why they can venture off in the unknown with Dr. Strange, Inhumans, etc. Not as popular but ppl know it's in the MCU. After GotG which came out of nowhere like the quality comic it's based on they're willing to gamble more.

Post Infinity War is really up in the air though other than Inhumans.

Punisher alone is why season 2 >1.

The jail scene when kingpin trapped punisher with the other inmates was bonkers.

I agree that matt was extra preachy this season.

Anyone have a link for the Luke cage snippet following the last DD episode?

Damn that Luke Cage teaser is dope lol. I'm loving this netflix universe. When they get together it'll feel like the Avengers for me.

I was hearing how people want the next netflix characters to be ghostrider, blade, punisher, and moon knight. Then later on they'd join up with the defenders. That would be pretty awesome.

All of those characters could work on a Netflix show.

Was saying the other day that Marvel should start doing a little thinking about what shows they might want to do after the Defenders are fully set up.

I'd kinda want Ghost Rider to stay a movie.

CGI budget won't be big enough on netflix. Eps gonna look like the cgi Flash got. Not good enough imo.

If they did it, probably come up with a completely different way to depict GR's flaming head.

Pleasantly surprised when Jessica Jones takes Luke Cage to the hospital and Rosario Dawson is the nurse there!
