JJ and Luke Cage were boring now? Hmph...

All this Nic Cage slander. He is not even that bad of a actor. Personally I like the first ghost rider, 2nd one not so much. Hell I even have the Blu Ray of Ghost Rider.
I didn't see much Nic Cage slander. What made the GR movies bad wasn't Nic Cage. It was the bad script, directing, shaky cam, some real bad cgi, and did I mention the terrible script that left the actors not much to work with?

Just finished ep.12 and the storyline with The Hand is really interesting.

Not sure how I feel about Karen as a key role in the Punisher storyline, but it works.

Jon Bernthal is killing it as Punisher. I wonder what Punisher thinks of all these super heroes lol

Punisher probably respects the hell out of them

I remember in the CW comics, Cap was beating the hell out of him, but he wouldn't do a single thing to defend himself. That respect. :pimp:

should have casted the other Sand chick:

Haha! I had no idea Loras was casted for IF

GoT has nearly impeccable acting talent...I'm pleased

Just finished watching the season yesterday. The punisher did his thing. Elektra did her thing. The "no kill" bit is annoying as others have said. It feels like in this season there was no "big" final boss, just the same guy from season one (nobu) and talks of The Hand. What were they doing with those teens that they were sucking blood from? What's this big 40 story hole in the building Stick was at being used for?

Also did not realize dude who's playing Frank was the dude in Wolf of Wall Street

I dony know I liked him wrestling with not killing anybody, you could tell he was way more agressive this season. Dude was beating the brains out of some of the goons.

I always think there should be people across the board in superhero type shows, some who kill and some who don't kill. Makes things more interesting. And I actually thought the discussion over it this season was fairly interesting, with Matt being pushed closer and closer to the limit as things progressively worsened.

In order to make stronger ninja warriors the Hand sacrifice their own or apparently children now to do it. They're usually undead or resurrected ninjas that become this powerful.

I guess once the process starts the sacrifices are zombies and obey the will of the Hand.

Yeah, that's basically who DD is.

It's a simple progression from when he was struggling with killing Kingpin in S1. Thought the law would get it right which is why he was preaching to Frank and then he finds out in S2 it didn't so by the end he's not even protesting to Elektra or Frank when they kill.

The most interesting part is when he beats Nobu. Was Matt intending to kill by sending him flying off the roof? If so he may have crossed that line and then we can see him seesaw on that issue in S3.

Just binged DD1, JJ, and DD2 the past couple weeks. Loved them. Anxious for LC Sept 30.

Hope they keep going with the individual seasons as well as the team up Defenders seasons.

IRON FIST Adds LORD OF THE RINGS And 300 Actor David Wenham As 'Harold Meachum'

A ruthless corporate leader, Harold Meachum was partners with Danny Rand’s parents at the time of their deaths. What role he plays in Danny’s past and future will be revealed over the course of the series.

“I’m very excited to have David as our Harold Meachum. David is capable of displaying raw, visceral strength as well as extremely keen intelligence,” said Executive Producer and Showrunner, Scott Buck. “This will add up to a character of complex depth who will keep us off balance all season."

"David brings both a vulnerability and a danger to his many diverse roles,” said Executive Producer/Head of Marvel Television, Jeph Loeb. “This key quality creates a gravitas our series requires as Danny unravels the secrets behind Rand Enterprises."

"The Defenders" to Start Filming at the End of the Year

"The Defenders" will kick off filming at the end of the year, at least according to "Daredevil" star Charlie Cox. At a two-day Netflix event in Paris, he revealed he doesn't know whether "Daredevil" will get a third season or what "Defenders" will be about, but he does know when the latter starts filming.

When asked about a potential third season of "Daredevil," he replied, "We don't know if there’s going to be a season three. I certainly don’t know."

"What we do know is at the end of this year we’re going to be making 'The Defenders' and, of course, Daredevil is very much a part of that foursome," he continued.

"I have no idea what the storyline is going to be for that show," he added. "I'm very excited to see how those worlds combine… and interested to see tonally how those shows become one."

"The Defenders" will unite characters from across Netflix's slate of Marvel shows, including Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage and Iron Fist. According to the show's official log line, "'Marvel's The Defenders' brings together Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Iron Fist and Luke Cage in an epic Super Hero team-up in New York City." A release date for the series has not yet been announced.

Sooner than expected :pimp:

So they can do about 2 shows per year, right?

Daredevil/Jessica Jones 2015
Daredevil/Luke Cage 2016
The Defenders/Iron Fist 2017
Daredevil/Jessica Jones 2018 :nerd:

Somethin like that match up?

They'll probably up it to 3 next year cuz I expect JJ S2 by then along with Defenders and IF.

They currently haven't moved forward on DD S3. Might end up with a LC S2 before depending on the response to S1.

Getting 3 in one year would be dope. And still no news on a possible Punisher spin off? The buzz gotta be makin them look into it, right?

I'd be happy with that. Punisher and his entire storyline was dope this season. Might need to go rewatch it soon in fact, but I don't need him to have his own show.
