Episode 4 and Episode 5 >>>>>>>>>>>>

I'm sorry @Master Zik I gotta disagree (nothing new there ) I'm loving this interpretation of Elektra so far. Granted I'm only on episode 6 but Elodie Yung is AMAZING! She's so sexy and vicious. Can't believe they made her Black Sky but I don't mind spoiling that for myself and seeing how it unfolds. I don't think her OG origins would've worked with her just being an assassin. It would've been hard working that angle and not doing the whole assassin for kingpin bit. Regardless she doesn't deviate too much from Miller's incarnation they just didn't flesh her out...but then again I'm only on episode 6

that's true, frank gets beat to a pulp and has multiple things stabbed into him but he's always ready for another round

I think that one of his strength is the ability to sustain/endure pain at anytime.

DD is going to get himself killed by not killing.

Dude got Elektras guts cut because of it. Man cut the bull.

I think just like the movies, general rule is after the first weekend all bets are off and enter at your own risk.

I wish it could be a whole week but for the most part I just don't enter the thread if I haven't seen it yet.

A friend of mine threw a wild theory at me yesterday that Karen and Frank are actually brother and sister, and that's why only she connects with him, but I highly doubt it's possible due to

Karen's dad being a mad scientist/villain in the comics? A different friend kind of spoiled that for me because I don't follow the comics at all

and after a Google search her bro's name is Kevin?

unless they stray away from the comics?

It is what it is. It sucks and shouldn't be this way, but you have to avoid these threads. Some other boards do spoiler-free threads and spoiler threads where people can go into either to discuss something, but knowing NT, someone will diddy bop in the spoiler free thread and ruin everything.

most of the time it is done nonchalantly too like it's no big deal like, "can't believe ________ die... ok guys, bye!"

IKR.

I love the justification afterwards too. Like everyone can just watch 11+ hours of TV or burn through a 20 hour video game in a day. Even a weekend can be tough for people. Some people work weekends.

If you want to talk about the part you're currently at, best to just hold that thought and wait until you're done. NT can't be trusted.

Should Daredevil return for a season 3 ahead of The Defenders, Cox thinks it wouldn't be a bad idea to bring in the archenemy of the Man Without Fear, Bullseye.

"If we are fortunate enough to continue making the Daredevil series, I can’t imagine doing a run of Daredevil where Bullseye doesn’t show up at some point. It would be great to have him around at some point. Who would play that part I have no idea but I just think there’s such an interesting, rich character there, and also of course, the history that Bullseye has with Karen Page is an interesting dynamic. When you read the comics it’s etched in a Daredevil memory all that stuff."

However, Cox also stated that he would love to see the return of his season 1 adversary, Vincent D’Onofrio. As Cox pointed out, there's still a ton of Kingpin-Daredevil related storylines that could be told in future seasons.

"I’d love us to explore more of the Wilson Fisk stuff. It’d be great if at some point Vincent D’Onofrio would come back for a season. There’s so much Daredevil-Wilson Fisk left untold. As he really came into his own, as Wilson Fisk turned into the Kingpin at the end of season one, I’d love to see what that now does to the Daredevil-Fisk dynamic going forward if we were to do a season 3 or 4."

Idk how bringing back Fisk would even be a "we hope" kind of thought. No doubt he should continue to appear going forward, unless they meant for an entire seasons worth.

I think since the hope was if DD S3 comes before the Defenders series, my guess is Cox might think that Kingpin might be forgotten as they move forward.

Plus it's probably just Cox trying to guarantee a season 3, it's a no brainer of course but until they announce it then these actors don't know it'll happen.

I think Cox has been campaigning that DD would fit in well in Infinity Wars too. I mean he may have said it as a joke because it is very unlikely and would make little sense but dude did say they might even recast DD for IW:

Marvel TV and Marvel Studios are two very different things. So even if the character were to appear in that film, that doesn’t necessarily mean that I would appear in that film. I will pick a fight with the guy that they choose.

the show could hurt itself if they try to squeeze so many characters in. Like i woulnd't be mad if they spread them out in Luke Cage or Jessica Jones since they're all gonna team up anyway. Daredevil got enough plots to finish as it is

I'm hoping that the Cox, Ritter and others appear in IW. Even if it's for a cameo appearance like Thanos arriving on earth and them looking up at the Sky as he arrives or something of that sort.

Bring back Farrell for bullseye :nerd:

And I'm all for the Netflix folks having small cameos in IW

The thing is I think Punisher will likely move on from here on out and likely appear in the other shows, I don't think his role is going to be as big in season 3 so Bulleye as one fo the main villains he hunts down would be a great addition.

Definitely think Kingpin coming back is a matter if "when" and not "if". Personally, I think season 4 would be the perfect time. You've already got stuff with The Hand that's been hinted at in Season 1, expanded upon in Season 2, and seems ready to boil over in Season 3 to me. Have Kingpin still appear and amassing more power in prison during S3 and then have him finally released at the very end of the season, to return as the big bad for S4.

Would definitely like to see Bullseye in here. Like Kingpin, Elektra, and The Hand, he's too big a part of Daredevil's history to leave out.

I still have a feeling that the Hand will be the main villain for the Defenders, it's like those four needs a big army to beat up, it's a cliche for an ensemble but that just seems like a good route for them to tackle. I can't imagine a big baddie they could deal with that is a big enough threat. I guess Kingpin and hiring a bunch of villains (a la SInister 6) could work but the Hand seems prime for them to take on.
