I think the unofficial rule is usually the first weekend stays spoiler free, after that you're on your own. There was a suggestion earlier for episode threads. That would be too much, but since these things are usually short, 2 part threads might work. ie episodes 1-6 thread, episodes 7-13 thread.
 
With all movies and shows.. After the opening/release it's on the individual..

You don't want to be spoiled, stay out of the thread until you watched the movie or caught up
 
I agree with what someone said.. Should have been more ninjas in the finale.. Punisher roll threw with tha choppa and take out like 50+ when dd and Elektra think their done for

Read the post I replied to for context. Unless you just booted up the Internet for the first time anyone coming to a thread about a show or movie and genuinely expecting it to be spoiler free is crazy. Even more so a show where all the eps are dropped at once? You know what you're getting into coming in here

Finished DD and bah gawd! Joint was great. Stayed away from this thread, cuz there was nothing for me to discuss if I didn't finish it.

This is NT enter at your own risk, I don't get why people act brand new.
 
Just finished up DD season 2, 7.5/8.

DD, Punisher, Elektra, Stick, and Fisk were all dope.

Foggy was much more tolerable this season and while Karen was annoying at times, I didn't mind her overall.

Rosario is too good to be playing just a nurse, she should be a hero or villain in the MCU, just not sure who she could have been.
 
Fell asleep last night once Pun entered the courtyard and took the shiv from Fisk.

Back on it, gotta see this fight scene at the end of Seven Minutes in Heaven
 
Rosario could've been the White Tiger. There have been more female ones than male ones in the comics at this point.

She could've been Echo (Maya Lopez) but she'd have to play a deaf character for that role.

I feel like she needs to be on the show(s) way more.

Frank Castle made the season for me. Didn't mind DD not killing ppl still, because Frank got out my fix of brutality. Dope jail scene fight.. rival's any fight scene from last or this season as the best fight scene IMO.

Yes, Foggy was much tolerable this season didn't complain (as much) and was G for his best friend.

I would hate the Karen character with so much fervor if Deborah Ann Woll wasn't so sexy.. she's so F****** exhausting.

Elektra.... not bad better than Garner

I was tryin to figure out how Stick became so helpless from season 1 to season 2 until he took care of Nobu.. then my faith was restored

So now that we knocked more story lines out of the way I NEED BETTER VILLAINS. 

overall series was on par if not better than season 1, but the bar has been set pretty high for season 3. Good luck writers.

I don't mind the act of not killing or the purpose behind not killing, it just felt like it was being shoved down my throat.

Exhausting is the perfect description for Karen. Like that hot ex with the good hole but you don't smash anymore because you'd rather have Peace and calm over needy "woe is me"-mess that comes with the booty.

I liked the staircase fight scene in ep 2 or 3 over the prison Fight scene but both had their greatness.

I mean, it's really not that hard to stay away from a thread until you finish watching the series. Which is exactly what I did :lol:

Season 2 was EXCELLENT. I loved the brutality of The Punisher. Netflix didn't hold anything back and I think Castle's presence is what made season 2 as brilliant as it was.

I had a question about MICRO, but I did some digging this morning and got my answers.

Only question I have is about the direction of season 3....Elektra/Fisk? Or something new?
 
7/8 for S2 from me.

*I'm not a comic reader*

- Why didn't Elektra ever re-gear and get protective sleeves or for her torso in general? Does it have to do with her flexibility?
- Karen the character, not the acting, got tiresome at moments. As if she was getting way too involved for her own good.

Like I said, I haven't read any of the related comics, so I wouldn't know if my questions are answered within them.
 


One of my favorite scenes in television.

Bernthal's delivery was amazing.


All in all, it was a good season, not great. For me, things kinda went downhill after Castle's "arrest". Everything after felt extremely rushed.


As for spoilers, I only came into this thread when I was done.

Just don't post anything comic book related, if anything put spoiler tags for that. Thread should just be strictly about the show.

These shows and movies may not follow the comics, but they stay true to the essence of the characters to some extent. I dont see why some are expecting or want DD to kill.
