Im new to PS4, is this game like Halo?

I have modern warfare and I kinda didnt like it. I wanted something like Halo.
 
Tbh I regret getting the X1. Hate how it works, hate the party system. Only reason why I stuck with it is cuz of the controller

Dislike the PS one

I had a 300 win streak on Black Ops 1 running with a full party. Just beast moded every game of domination. Good times...

Stumbled on this thread. Hey any of you guys having trouble playing online? I used to be beast on all the lasts COD. I'm talking 25-4 type deal. Now I'm like 8-18

Foreal though I have zero time to shoot anyone by the time I see them. Yet when I look at the replay they had all the time in the world to kill me. Its not my internet either. I'm wired into my PS4 with fast connection. Before that I was using wifi

Connection is off in this game. Sometimes Ill be shooting first and Ill still die
 
I feel this game you have to run with a party.
Most matches I find their all usually parties.

This COD is teaching me to just sit back and play defense. I'm still adjusting I've never really used perks like awareness and dead silence.
 
I'm not feeling the SBMM that got added. It took the casualness out of public games. Now I have to play my heart out every match, and to make matters worse I just prestiged so now I'm doing it without most of my guns, perks, and attachments. I won't be prestiging anymore, the dissadvantage is real. And they're throwing me in lobby's with max prestige and South American dudes and their connections are garbage so everyone else suffers too.

I finished sub .500 my first game with sbmm... 9-10 after being dumped into a game where theres alrdy a cerebus and wraith running around and everyones as good as me but with **** connections

Cant eem play core. Hit markers galore
 
The lag and connection delay is real, I'm playing dudes from across the globe in nearly every lobby.

Matches take longer to find, and if you do get thrown in a game you can guarantee there's R.A.P.S. and a wraith and your team is down by 20.

Public is basically Arena now, I can't level up less used guns because I'll get ate alive if I'm not using my best class.

Having the exact same issue. I was never great, just solid. Never had trouble getting kills or killstreaks. Now in a lot of matches I can barely move without getting shot. You watch the replay and they had plenty time to react. I've taken to shooting before folks even come around the corner lol

I've found that if I run by myself and play smaller matches it's ok. When I party up with someone or play any big games its a massacre.

That being said, I still like this game a lot. Just overall tired of not feeling like the playing field is even.
 
Game fell off when they added in this score streaks nonsense. 7-8 kills to get a UAV is a god damn joke. They completely forgot what made COD fun in the first place.
