With Wanee quickly approaching, I figured it timely to make a thread for those of us that love the live music festival scene (Im talking camping and the whole nine, not day concerts).

Ill add pics tomorrow.

Really looking forward to Leftover Salmon, Yonder Mountain String Band, and many boomers.

Camping festivals are indeed life. Going to my fourth bonnaroo this year, cannot wait.

Thats dope bro. Never been to Bonnaroo. Been to 3 Big Wu Fam Reunions, a couple Harvest Fests, Dylan w Lesh & Friends, a few 10,000 Lakes Festivals, one Langurado, and this will be my 6th (I think) Wanee. Holla!

Went to the first two bonaroos said I never go again unless phish played. So I went back once more and could never again. But between the summit, gathering of vibes, berkfests. 5 or 6 phish fests along with about 300 phish shows. Two holy ships. And shut tons more

Besides Made In America what are some other music festivals in the Philly area, particularly hip ones. Are there any?

Just curious, what makes you say you would never do bonnaroo again?

Also, If you don't camp, you are missing out. (to the poster above)

The only way I would is rv or hotel. That's how I've been doing for years. Have not camped at a festival in years. Not claiming to be some Baller. We all throw down get a pimp rv or hotel. I need air conditioning showers etc. most of the time I don't sleep but an hour or two in a cold rv is much better than a steamy *** tent

Believe me I camped at more fests than most if not all on this site. Besides kix, gear my fam music is just as vital.
I'm out in the city all the time
U ever up here and want to go out hit me up. Not cheese ball clubs. Verboten in bk is one of the best spots period.

But bonnaroo line up is great. Not a billy Joel guy but good electronic and hip hop

Everyone come to mystery land memorial day weekend in ny. Gonna be amazing.

Some pics from Wanee in past years. Hands down favorite festival. Security is always super chill. Real easy to walk in with a few cold ones. Camp grounds are super dope and there's plenty of space. Expected to be wet this year but hopefully mother nature shines some sun on us!

Bonarroo has a nice lineup this year but I'm not with the camping life. Heading to Hangout next month, headliners aren't the greatest but it's at the beach and a good number of acts that I loved back in high school.

Just got back from Wanee a few hours ago. The weather ended up being on point. Panic killed their show last night. Best show they've ever done at Wanee. What a great time kicking it in the woods for a few days with the homes

I've always wanted to hit up Bonnaroo, but the thought of what I'm going to put on my feet always deters me.

I have no shoes that I'm willing to sacrifice to the grass, dirt and inevitable mud. Petty, I know.
