Things to do in Houston, Texas vol are you all still tippin?

This is It has banging soul food and Floyds has banging sea food.

Yea you definitely gotta hit up the strip club. It's not everyone's cup of tea but can't come to Houston and not step in one.

Boys on the first page summed it all up pretty much and named all the spots. If your into clubs limelight and Monroe are cool on the weekends but bars>clubs imo.
Washington Ave and Midtown is usually always poppin.

Frenchys is the **** :pimp: Timmy Chans is also good but these are more hood spots lol not everyone likes em but they good af imo lol

I'd be down to go out a night when you get in town
Gotta make it happen with some of the other houston nters

Nt summit on Washington Ave would be cool.

Regarding Frenchies, I used to see them all over but never thought twice about going, they seemed dirty and sketchy. I happened to check it out one day because it was connected to a gas station and I was mad hungry,I went in with low expectations. Son. Best damn fried chicken and fries I've had in years. Delicious.

By the way reason I said The Men'sClub for HH is they have $1.50 wells/beer until 9pm and free buffet. Like I said Thank Me Later

5th Amendment on Thurs night.

Proof in Midtown

I have a boy who is part of a crew opening up a dayclub next month in Midtown.

By the way, anybody been to Downtown lately? It's starting to boom again, those that were old enough to party when the Super Bowl was here in 2004, it's starting to look like that again.

Bars/Spots starting to pop off which I'm sure in anticipation when the Super Bowl is here in a couple of years.

Speaking of downtown, I just took a job at a hotel in the heart of downtown, from the first couple days of working here, it's Def too business like and we gotta send everyone to galleria for shopping, but I do think once OTC hits+the rockets playoffs good things r coming start of summer

Knowing how it is, it's cyclical, Downtown at it's peak was nuts. 2002-2006 you couldn't not go downtown to party.

Washington Corridor wasn't as poppin, Midtown wasn't as poppin so everybody brought they *** downtown.

Main St was dope, remembering every block a spot/club/bar --- Suede, The Vault, M bar, Opus, Grasshopper, Barcode, Spy, The Office, Toc - there's few more that I can't think of at the moment.

If none of you don't know any of that, then damn, I'm showing my age.

Been here for about 2 years...so many restaurants and bars. I was looking at ole boy post on the first page and caught a couple things I haven't hit up

but with that being said Top Golf is a good look, Stogies is a cigar spot thats pretty cool. Bar Boheme is cool too.

I was personally unimpressed with V Live.

Haha! Speaking of Vlive, me and the wife went there for after hours a few weeks ago, she was not impressed and neither was I.

Them chicks were not working hard for that money, but then again it was damn near 5am...

Clubs:

Grooves is definitely my favorite club. The atmosphere there is always pretty chill, and the music is good. Parking is terrible lol but besides that its a nice club. Mainly young professionals with good heads on their shoulders. The DJ always kills it there.

Venue is a decent club, I like the set up in there, only been there once though but I enjoyed myself. I would suggest getting a section. I did feel like it was a younger type crowd. Im 26 and I kinda felt outta place there but it was still a nice night.

Strip clubs:

Dont go to Onyx. Its disrespectful they even refer to this place as Onyx considering how legendary the one in ATL is. BUT with that being said, their wings are AMAZING. The girls there arent attractive and cant really dance. so yea....

I havent been to the new and improved VLive. Last time I went was before the Drake shout out. Been there twice and it was dope. Lot of pretty girls with crazy bodys. Heard the remodeled one is super dope, seen pictures but havent went back.

Now Dreams is my favorite. Mainly because how the building is structured and the females that work there. Im cool with a couple of them, actually went to school with one of the dancers. The women here are gorgeous and will turn up with you. The craziest part about Dreams is how nonchalant it is to kick it with a celeb or an athlete. Ran into Trevor Ariza the other night and dude was chillin with everybody, and the time before that had a 30 minute convo with Maliah just on some cool kicking stuff. She even came to our section and hung out. My boy got on stage with her and she gave him a solo performance. It was truly a dope night.

So yea Dreams is obviously my favorite. You can bring your own liquor in there and parking is cheap. Their wings are probably the best. Only issue is they dont pat people down at the door consistently.

Check out Luckys pub downtown for some good Crawfish on sunday. Also Drake is performing that weekend at the Toyota Center for his Jungle Tour with Future so the city is gonna be crazy that weekend. Yall might wana see about getting some tickets. You gotta go to the Galleria. Its huge! and honestly overwhelming as hell, but its just something you gotta check out at least once.

Ive been in Houston for about 9 months and Im still finding new spots to kick it, eat, and hang out. Its a great city. Only thing that sucks is the traffic. But other than that theres always a good time and something to do.

SN: Timmy Chan's is trash. Fight Me.
