Things to do in Houston, Texas vol are you all still tippin?

anyone live up north? spring/klein/willowbrook/cy-fair area? aint **** to do up here

I'm in the spring area and nope, nothing to do out here

everything pops in the city or southside area.

i guess you can hit a country club if you're into that lol

I'm up that side as well. There is a Prospect Park bar over by willowbrook mall now too. Pretty much that 1960/249 area. Vintage Park has some decent stuff depending on what crowd you're into. Other than that I just head to city center (10-15 minute drive) or within the loop (25 minutes if there no backup on 290 and i-10).

Prospect Park, this brotha knows..... :pimp:

Anyone stay off of navigation blvd? I was looking at new constructions homes on that side and they relatively low priced. I've only been out there once, it it mostly seemed like factories and warehouses to me.

Looks like ima be movin to katy or close to it. My chick got a bad *** job in that area. I work in sugarland tho. Was thinkin bout gettin a spot off I-10 and dairy ashford maybe or beltway and I-10. Any suggestions

Navigation is a long *** street bro. But me personally, i wouldnt live there.

Unless you wana have to feel the need to walk around wit a choppa and a hunnid round drum on it, or be harrased by la policia then thats the area for you

I live in sa now. It's not horrible but pales in comparison to Houston.

If you want something upscale, mixed crowd, you got club Live, Rio or bistro garden.

Hood stuff, Miami bar or ice lounge.

My bread and butter, where I go when I'm bored and just want to get out is red square bar. Mixed spot, casual, good dj, great drink specials.

Today there's a spot called 5th lounge that's decent on Sundays. Free food but no drink specials. It's a lightweight hood crowd.

Based on this thread I checked out Hubcap Grill last night (one off 19th). Hubcap Decker I think it was called. Had the texas toast in the middle. Really good.

Based on Yelp it looks like Le' Pam's House of Creole is amazing. Not going to make it this trip cause it's so far up there though.

Best BBQ in Houston?

I still haven't been to Killen's. I heard the best ttime to go is like 11 on Tuesday and Wednesday, but work pretty much keeps me from that. And I'm not a person about to wait forever in a line

Moon tower inn. Wednesday but 1 get 1 free burgers, but their wild game hot dogs are amazing. Really chill. Just be careful in the summer so many flies, nows the perfect time

Killen's for lunch today. Got there at 12:30. Line was probably 20ish deep. Had food in hand by 12:45.

Beef rib, pork ribs, brisket, mac n cheese, cream corn, greens, bread pudding:

Beef Rib:

Everything was good, but the cream corn and bread pudding were out of this world. The greens were pretty f'ing good too, as were the pork ribs. Beef ribs, brisket, and mac n cheese was really good too. Really can't go wrong. Needless to say I'll be eating lots of this for dinner tonight too.

Good looks on the recs!
