A lot of people quickly hopped on that without knowing the facts or seeing the vid.

Not to mention ESPN sided with nypd as police report being fact that day. Then the tmz videos came out. Drawing questions to the excessive force being used. And him having a broke leg and not getting the proper medical treament. County jail infirmary isn't good enough. U go to jail with a broke leg they take u to the hospital. No matter who u are. Still have yet to see thabo and pero break any of the laws they were charged with. Much less Thabo "charge an officer who has his back turned" or Pero "physically grab an officer" which the police report states. I can hear thabo and witnesses yellling at police to calm down and relax while 6 cops are pulling him into 6 directions then putting him in a headlock and tackling him to the ground. Then the baton gets whipped out. For what I don't even know. He was subdued. It was 100 feet away from this crime scene they say thabo and pero were interfering with. And Thabo will beat all those misdemeanors and then he will be an innocent man with a broke leg who can't go to work. An Ace Bandage isnt good enough for a broke limb. Been looking for another similar incident where police beat up an american professional athlete but I can't think of or find another one.

sure seems to me that the nypd knew who Thabo was. Wizards player Rasual Butler agreed that the cops knew who Thabo was. believes the nypd knew who Thabo was. Another Source says "while the officers were dispersing dozens of people near the scene, one officer focused on thabo, and then he continued to track him down the block like a D Back tracking a receiver." Sounds bout right to me. Oh yea and Atlanta starts it playoffs against Brooklyn tomorrow in Atlanta. "NYPD spokesperson says "Sefalosha refused medical treatment" sure he did nypd. How he get that ace bandage then? He have it in his pocket before he was arrested Lol. Give me a break. Sure he did. Not like nypd has ever lied on a police report before. Still yet to see why Pero or Thabo were arrested. Every single thing the nypd has said in this case has turned out to be a lie. I'd hate for my tax dollars to be going to THAT organization. But I'm sure they already are given the nypd's track record.

Agreed, and many times it's worse for Black men that appear to have money/status.

I was pulled over and questioned much more when I owned luxury cars.

I hope Sef gets the police dept for his season salary, potential playoff bonuses and insensitives, medical costs, pain and suffering, mental stress, court expenses, and anything else he can get plus ending these cowards' careers.

I'm tired of seeing this crap everyday in the news.

With all the pigeon poop everywhere they are worried about people spitting? Like that's going to make the streets any cleaner?

Sad thing is, if they have to pay out to Thabo it WILL come from your tax dollars anyways, not from the Police Department's money, not from their pensions, or from the pockets of the officers involved even. Tax payers pay for it

Thabo speaks

http://espn.go.com/nba/story/_/id/12975905/thabo-sefolosha-atlanta-hawks-says-arrest-hurt-reputation
laying down the foundation for the pending lawsuit. Starts in the court of public opinion. Hope the Hawks and Thabo sue those nypd basterd's for millions and get those multiple officers fired for being idiots clearly not knowing how to do their job properly.

Majority of NYPD officers are just poorly trained overcompensating dudes....they have no clue how to de-escalate and ***** situations....these officers all need to be fired and stripped off their badges so that they can't work as cops anywhere else....a law suit isn't gonna affect any of these dudes on a personal level because is the city paying the money, money that the tax payers put out.

One of the cops testifying tried to say he told them he had hurt his leg prior laugh.gif

So Thabo breaks his leg during a game and goes to a night spot after laugh.gif

The only difference in this and James Blake is video. I'm sure they would have had plenty of excuses and allegations or resisting or disobeying.
