We all thought Boss was getting 10 mil abs ended up at 6. Who knows how much Black will even get to play to showcase what he has after they bring back Hill/Boozer or try to sign Amare.

Hibbert+pick/mcdaniels+drafting dangelo+upshaw=salvaged offseason.

Screw it. Do it.

Karl wanted to come play with kobe. Glove because of shaq. Regardless they were ring chasing and not because they were coming to a rebuild.
Uh, no. Perhaps you do not realize that this has been written about.
A lot of people ask me, what was my part in attracting Gary Payton and Karl Malone to the Lakers, and my answer is simple: I did it

I was on the phone with those guys once or twice a week. Gary was a little bit easier job, because he was ready to get out of Seattle. The Karl Malone thing was a little tougher, but eventually I got it done.

i actually dont mind roy on this squad. a big 7 footer that plays rim defense. better than starting hill or sacre at center again

Saw this posted on another forum. Never heard of the guy to be honest

I will say this, potentially our interior defense will be a whole lot better than last year with Hibbert and Upshaw. It was a layup line with Hill and Boozer last year.Yes, we don't know much about Upshaw's game but every one is saying that he is a great shot blocker.

IF Kobe's healthy, Randle and Russell play well, this team can be better than last years. And I know thats not saying much.

Roy was a two time Allstars just couple years ago, he's only 28yo. Why wouldn't anyone Lakers fan want him?

Source on Lakers-Hibbert trade first reported by @ESPNSteinLine "it'll get done after the 9th"

I'm not mad at the move. If only we signed Harris i'd be happy with the squad.

Well hibbert sometimes like really sucks but most of the time hes pretty solid.

We wont be a playoff team but atleast we found somebody better than sacre

How many years are left on his contract?

Wish we got faster and more versatile, hopefully Hibbert can find consistency.

I am looking forward to Druss dishin the ball

Y'all know Roy is gonna show out with it being a contract year...
10-10 with 2 blocks, I'll take it

Maintaining cap space and possibly bringing over an asset, I'll take it

Dealing him mid season to a playoff contender could work in our favor
