If you keep hibbert upshaw and randle why would you go after horford? Give him big money to backup randle? Black can do that for much cheaper. I don't see any players worth a max outside of KD that would fit on this roster
 
I played with a kid in basketball camp growing up who had seven fingers and a better form than MKG. Blows my mind how he developed his shot like that.

If we miss on Durant, just hit a few doubles.

Batum would fit that bill. I'd love Harrison Barnes, but RFA, so might be as difficult as landing KD.

Re-signing Hibbert, and adding Batum, while the kids continue to develop, I'd be pretty happy with that.
 
Do we know who might be working with Russell personally on the staff going forward? Has Nash left the building?

Horford is naturally a 4. But has been a 5 for so long due to roster construction.

You start Randle & Horford.

Hibbert is 25 mpg guy.

That allows you to get the minutes to a point where everyone gets their minutes. Upshaw is the odd man out but still gets high teens in terms of minutes.

Then we have the best Frontline in the league. A star in KD. And Young Bucks in the back court.

We need to start recruiting KD now. Mitch should have Kobe calling him everyday right now. And Kobe should be telling him he's ready to hand the keys of the franchise over to him.
 
I like Clarkson too but yall gotta relax. He's 23 playing with 19 year olds. He better be the best player on the court or something is wrong.

Or we could not pay Roy 14 mil to play less than 30 minutes, that's an idea. Just go after Horford and Batum independently if you want em.

This is true. If Clarkson can show improvement and progression this season then antennas will go up. Got to prove himself.
But I don't no man he got a look in his eye this offseason like he ready. You can tell his confidence is on 100. That's that confidence when you no what work you put in.

Ultimately I think he will automatically look better just because we have a better team this year. We finally have the true PG we been asking for and we have a rim protector in the middle. I can't wait to see if he can still perform when defensive focus is on him.
 
If Clarkson really does develop this season... him & Hibbert might really be enough to get boogie... that situation is going to get no better unless they get rid of Karl..

Then MAYBE KD has incentive to come here... outside of that KD has no reason to OKC

If by develop you mean becomes an NBA superstar, then you may have a point. Until then...good luck believing that whatever you believe Clarkson will be...and a lump of Roy Hibbert...would get you DMC.
No franchise would be dumb enough to make a trade like that within their division. Not even the Kings.
