Would'ya look at that.....

Yes, I'd rather not jerk with karma/the basketball GODS. We pined for it...pined for okafor before the season..towns towards the end of the season...not only did we keep it..we got #2-almost as if the gods are saying.."alright...here it is...don't forsake it." I'm all for not getting cute with it. It's a blessing, let us not forget.

[/quote]Something's fishy. 4 Finals trips together and Shaq/Kobe aren't close enough together for Shaq to even be mentioned in a list that Kobe is at the top of? :nerd:

But in 4 Finals runs, they didn't beat 8 50-win teams for him to top Lebby? :\

You're probably right...The list is probably correct as its been a bloodbath in the west the entire time...but shaq should be on the list somewhere in the middle of the pack.

Shaq certainly slots on that list, so would Kareem.

I think they are using actives in Kobe, Bron, Duncan, then MJ, Magic, Bird.

I don't think it's a complete list or anything. Hell, Bill Russell gotta have more than 7.

Sheeeee, Tracy McGrady prolly got more than 7.

Idc cause we're not drafting either but Mudiay is much better than D. Idk why people are acting like Mudiay is some unknown African kid from China who just blew up

This is interesting, and kinda obvious I suppose. But Arash Markazi wrote a nice article about Westbrook and what makes him who he is and about the passing of his friend.

Arash was on 710 this morning, and said he'd be "shocked" if Westbrook doesn't bolt from OKC to come LA at some point.

Markazi has never really broke any stories, but he's a good reporter, so iono, just thought I'd share.

Justin Anderson vs Anthony Brown in today's workout. :nerd:

Delon Wright in attendance too.

Ok, looked at.......

Kobe:
1998 Seattle 61 Wins

2000 Phoenix 53, Portland 59, Indiana 56
2001 Portland 50, Sacramento 55, San Antonio 58, Philly 56
2002 San Antonio 58, Sacramento 61, New Jersey 52
2003 Minnesota 51
2004 San Antonio 57, Minnesota 58

2008 Denver 50, Utah 54, San Antonio 56
2009 Houston 53, Denver 54, Orlando 59
2010 OKC 50, Utah 53, Phoenix 54, Boston 50

LeBron:
2007 Detroit 53

2011 Boston 56, Chicago 62

2013 San Antonio 58
2014 Indiana 56
2015 Chicago 50, Atlanta 60

Few notes.

Kobe played in both the 99 and 12 shortened years, where only 1-2 teams even won 50. Bron played in the 12 season, OKC would have been a 50 win team with a full year.

Kobe had a couple of 49's, and a 48 also under his belt. Bron had a lot of 38, 40, 41's.

Kobe missed the 05 playoffs, the last 3 years, the two strike shortened years, and still amassed 24. And when everyone starts to point at Shaq, and Pau, I'm going to post pictures of Dwayne Wade, Chris Bosh, Ray Allen (who got him the 13 title and a 50+ series win)

6 NBA Finals, and you have a total of 7 series wins vs teams over 50 Wins? That is the DEFINITION of cakewalk thru a weak East, every, damn, year. Jesus Christ, Kobe beat 10 teams in 3 seasons, TWICE!!!! Bron has 7 over the course of an entire 13 year career? :x
