Like why trade for Boogie when you can get a cost controlled version of Boogie? (Okafor)

Doesn't make any sense why you would wanna max boogie who hasn't done anything in this L. 
 
I guess he's proven he can be an NBA all star.
Okafor can be a bust, any draft pick can end up a bust. There's a level of risk and uncertainty.

He's proven he can be an All Star when others get hurt and can't play.

And Sure okafor could bust, but I'd rather try my hand for 2 years with the young kids and preserve the cap. Rather than max a guy who hasn't done anything 
 
How is Okafor any version of Boogie? Can he handle, shoot, pass like boogie? Can he play big minutes like Boogie?

He's already more polished in the post. Can develop a shot I'm sure.

The boogie you see now isn't the boogie that was drafted.

All players develop, I'm sure Okafor will develop just fine.

Because management is dumb and think kobe has another title run

If we stay at 2 we better draft okafor. Nobody else. If you want to draft someone else then trade down
