No, Tim was a star, day one. He was the last of a dying breed, that played 4 years in college, dominated, and covered every base. Fundamental, Offense, Defense, intangibles, he was the real deal, day 1.

Okafor could very well be that, if he stayed in college for 3 more years. But the game has changed, people don't do that anymore, hence the "uncertainty" now with draft picks.

I've been to three games so far and people will be surprised how good Wrigley Field will look after the renovations are complete.

But yes, we look much like we should, and will only get better next year, when the real work begins. :nerd:


Bryant and Joc right now, too soon to tell who will win. I'd say Joc has the edge as of this moment, but Bryant is gaining, quickly.

The struggle was real. I'm just glad its over. We can't really go wrong either way. I just prefer Cousins as our consolation prize rather than Jah/Randle/Cark. And without #6, there is no deal. Odds are against this coming together, you're right, but if its on the table, you don't hesitate. Obviously we need to find a 3rd or 4th team to make this happen.  I don't even mind if its  Boogie and #10. I'm down with Stanley Johnson too

What, exactly, is the problem with Oak/Randle/Clarkson? Why do we need a "consolation" prize, over these 3 on rookie contracts?
 
The Lakers got three years before they even can think about championship. Maybe two with some extreme luck. Let this rebuild properly develop gahdammit.

^ is that an actual rumor or just people talking about nothing? would be hard to believe miami would give up a lottery pick to free up ~6mill + whatever is owed to the 10th pick in cap. are they planning on doing that to free up money to pay wade?

i'm all for taking on semi bad contracts to get prospects. mcbob is signed on through 2017/2018 but his contract would be very negligible with the cap boom.

Doubt wcs is around at 10...more like stan/oubre/payne/etc..I dunno if I'd wanna absorb mcbobs horrible deal...already had to endure that back in 11-12....lol
