This kid is gonna have to compete with Steph, Russ, CP3, Lillard, Conley. Iono about this move :smh:
People had the SAME EXACT criticism about one of the guys you named when he came out of Davidson with nothing but a jumper and like 86 pounds hanging off his bones.

I distinctly remember people tombout, "Congrats, Steph. Here's Russ, CP3, & Dame. Welcome to the league!"

Not saying he's going to make it; just saying we don't know.

Because on the flip, DFish definitely helped us win rings, and nobody but NOBODY would have called that back in 96.

All about that work.
I'm tryna convince myself, I hear ESPN saying D Russell can be a superstar. I get it. The move just goes against basketball common sense. We passed on a big man that's at lest gonna be a great scorer. Maybe I'm just too old school but I believe you take the big man.

His offensive game is polished at 19.... 19

Russell will wear #1

Leaving #0 still open :nerd:

Get this fool off the team. Can't have him polluting the young boys mind.

PG check, now we need a wing and a Center

Does anyone think we should go after Tobias and just have Ed, Hill, Randle, Kelly, Tarik and Sacre as our bigs?

On LIFE. Not just saying that.

Thing is, times are definitely moving away from really 'needing' a traditional back to the basket big. Yeah, Tim Duncan is a recent champ, but everyone knows that team is less about him these days. Cavs, Warriors, Heat, Mavs, Thunder... all recent Finalists, no dominant bigs. Bosh, yeah, but he's a stretch 4, not a big. We're talking about bigs. Tyson Chandler, Perkins, Mozgov, David Lee... all acquired by their Finals teams, not drafted, and all helpers to their teams, not focal points.

Anyone think RHJ will slip all the way down to our pick or beyond?

Might be in the minority, but I'm a fan

Nah we need to nab a legit big man......Monroe?
No on Monroe. No.
Monroe is not elite

let NY max him out

any big we sign will have to cancel out the deficiencies of our current frontline
No Wildcats on this team.
We traded our pick from last year?
