According to John Ireland on ESPN 710 lakers are considering trading Julius Randle to make room for Kevin love

Best thing for all sides is Love signs with another team for only a year and Lakers evaluate Randle, then go from there in 2016.

Well to be fair, you would have to include julius randle in a trade to get Boogie, so at least he's consistent. Maybe Randle + Houston's 1st + (boston's first ?)+ somethin else is enough?

Clarkson
Kobe

The remains of Gerald Wallace

Love

Boogie

lottery pick and whatever garbage bench we can muster

I can see that as an 8th seed time. Kobe comes off the books and thats a nice core for a max player or 2 to land.

*I didn't bother looking at salaries or cap space to see if this is even possible (it's almost certainly not)

Celtics are offering a first rounder for gerald wallace's contract (~10mil). Do we bite?

No.

Absolutely not.

Would take up half of our cap space. We need to come away with either a Superstar.. Or a young name. Both would not happen if we take on Gerald Wallace.

JUST STOP TALKING!!!
She def belongs behind the scenes crunching numbers. Every time she talks I wanna throw up.
Funny, when she brought up our coach the only thing she could say is "They got a coach that ....they chose" lol smh

Does anybody honestly in their heart believe this. Let's be real guys. I kno we like to think our FO are idiots but doesn't remotely sound believable. Ireland is an idiot. We should stop posting foolishness in here

I really hate this klown

I'd rather force Julius to play behind Love for 4 years than trade him for a discount price.

Remember that HS injury, and recently getting the screw upgraded, because they had time convinence
Then out for the year after 15 minutes.

Teams will use that information against us if we tried to trade him before he had a chance to prove anything in the NBA.
Yup.

I laugh at everyone hypin this guy today like he's 03 Dunc.

He's 7 feet tall, and makes 2 foot baskets to the tune of 13-14 points a game.

He scored 4, in a playoff game, and won by 40. But people act as if he's dominated the entire time
Just flat out making stuff up with that last sentence.

Ain't nobody said he has dominated in like forever. Not me, not Anti, not Duncan himself.

"100 years old, still doing it :smokin " =/= 'dominating'

In light of Love's injury news, does this increase or decrease his chances of being a Laker next season? I'm not sure.

I'd say the same.

Love >>>> Rondo

I'll say it to I'm blue in the face and all the way to the high heavens.

Pay the extra money and get an asset that may be valuable enough to trade down the road i.e. the opposite of what NY is.

Randle (for as much potential as he has) is an unknown and we can always trade Love if Randle shows that he's too great to be just a 6th man.

I never understood the whole compare apples to oranges thing.

Kobe to T-Mac, Wade, Jordan, West, Harden, etc... Got it. Makes sense. It's a forum, debate away.

Kobe to Duncan? Really?
Idk. I mean discuss away but IMHO it'll get you no where. Two different players who dominated in different ways, for different teams, in completely different markets. I'm not even saying one is by far "better" than the other. I just think it's way too complex of a comparison to make, way too many different circumstances to consider. Geographical, Financial, Managerial, basketball, etc... All kinds of different factors affecting each one of their legacies.

I don't think it's an issue to discuss it like it said were here to debate sports, but they're just so extremely opposite of each other on the spectrum I don't find it likely to come to any compromise if you're leaning on one side already.

so jeannie buss just said next season is a celebration of kobe... SMFH lol

I cant even... just.... cot damnnnnn wut in the blue hell happened with this organization?!?! dr buss just turned over...

Pop said Duncan was his best player this year.

Every game, they go on and on like he's still running each game.

Bloggers/media types talk like he'll still be playing in 2025.

I'm not making anything up, I catch all that ****.

They did the same thing for Kareem.

Baltimore did it for Cal Ripken.

Yankees for Jeter.

They wanted to for Magic, but of course that was taken from them.

She's talking about video tributes, bringing Shaq in, maybe Pau, LO, etc. Not a big deal, just celebrating his 20th year as a Laker.
