The basketball portion of the presentation didn't sell LMA.I really want to see this presentation.
It went something like this:
Kobe: Look here, Young buck. You inbound the ball to Russell and he'll bring up the ball. I'll catch on the strong side wing while you stay on the weak side.
LMA: But I work best on the strong wing...
Kobe: Listen, i don't give a **** where you work best at. You're staying on the opposite side and clear out space for me.
LMA: How about I come over and set a screen and look for a pick and pop play?
Kobe: Yeah, that might work. Clears up more space for me.
Russell: Hey, guys. I think it would be a better idea is I brought the ball up, look for high screen from LMA while Kobe moves in a flex motion and I look for the open man?
Kobe:
LMA: Okay, I guess It's about time we wrap up this meeting. Hey, Jeenie. I'll be sure to send you the address of my hotel room. Come over after I see Phil. You can say hello.

We went to the finals 3 times and won 2. What else did he want Kobe to say? Here are the keys to the kingdom? As far as I am concerned this is KOBES squad till he hangs up the sneakers, he earned that right. I really hope some of the young guys learn from what he has to teach and become cold blooded killers on the court!

Aldridge from accounts wants to leave Portland partially because he felt he was getting surpassed by Lillard. He wants to be the man, not a second option.

I agree. It's the same thing with Dwight. Yeah kobe's going to retire soon but you can't expect to get the keys to the franchise without playing your role

If a player is leaving his former team cause he wants a bigger offensive role , you don't tell Him you 40 year old start who can't play a full season is still the 1st option
