Don't have to be psychic to read the reports about the Magic now matching all offers. And observations about what happened these last two summers is just reality.

Keep relaxing my G as the spiraling into the abyss continues.

If the Magic want to make the playoffs, there's no reason for them not to match an offer sheet for Harris.

Not to mention, you don't develop a guy through his rookie contract then let him go for nothing. Bad business.

The most telling part is that ORL first said they were willing to match a certain price and now that they struck out on milsap they are saying they'll match any number

I don't care if we don't pick up a single free agent the rest of the way.

I'm excited to watch Clarkson, DLo and Randle this upcoming season. Wasn't excited to watch a single game last season, so things are already better for me.

rck and chester are better fans than most of you dudes in here already

The same Chester saying he wants ariza on "his Blazers" on Twitter?

we have a scandal on our hands!

people need to chill out in here

the sky is not falling
It's on the ground already. We're headed to hell next once they bring Hill & Wes back and add Lee or Amare.
no one wants to sign with us because none of our guys are proven

enjoy watching these young dudes prove themselves this year and turn this team into something thats worth signing with next off season

you have to walk slowly before you walk at normal speed

Nah I'm good after the 1st month or so not going to waste my time watching this clown squad lose 50+ games again for the 3rd straight season.

 Mamba too uptight. You musta had Finals hopes this year or somethin.

If Russell is the next Wall/Rose/Blake/AD, we'll start to see true results very soon.

The writing was on the wall the second Dwight chose Houston. We've talked about it for 2 full years. 3 days into free agency, dudes are freaked.

We traded Shaq, had the 05 cluster blank year, then 2 years of Kwame/Smush/Luke Walton starting.

This is year 3. We have Russ/Randle/Clarkson/Nance/Brown/Upshaw/Black and cap to absorb assets and cap next year to add parts.

Relax.

Nah not Finals, just not expecting another tank worthy season.

So if I have to be the Debbie Downer and point out the state that we're in then fine. But I'm not buying it. Not banking on Russell being a generational talent but hopefully I'm wrong. In 2008 before we got Pau there was at least some progression before Bynum got hurt and we were still competitive and in the playoffs even with Smush and co.
There's none of that to look forward to this season or next even with more cap space for nobody good to take.

I'm on the same boat as you. I'm excited to see these young bucks give it their all. They seem to have the right attitude. Working hard trying to get better. If D'LO is as good as I think he's going to be than he will help inflate everybody's numbers and make then look much better. A la steve nash. Might set us up for a mid season boogie trade because you know it's only gonna get worse in Sacramento.

You view them all as failures already. I don't.

(Many "if's" to follow)

If, Clarkson keeps improving.
If, Randle stays healthy.
If, Russell is real.
If, IF Upshaw can be Bynum 2.0.
If, Nance + Brown are decent role guys.
If, Black is useful.

That's some high upside. Sure, they could all bust. Sure.

But, Kobe, Fisher, Bynum, Farmar, Ariza, Sasha, Earl Clark, Clarkson, Marc Gasol :nerd:. I mean....Mitch has pulled a lot of talent, and we seem to do a good job turning them into solid parts. (Marc not included)
