Don't view them as failures at all. Just for what the are, unproven. Going into another offseason next year where they have to produce. The fact that you had IF in front of everything speaks for itself.

And the difference in previous situations is that transcendent talents were in place already for the young guys to come along at a gradual pace in Shaq and Kobe, where's that guy to alleviate the pressure this time? Not even taking into account the negative aura that's around the entire organization right now in spite of the youth they have acquired.

I actuslly expected us to be in tank mode again so im not surprised or tripping. Next summer is the summer i regain high expectations. Til then, ill just keep winning chips on 2k

i dont mind d-will, just not crazy about the 2nd year being in his hands.

lakers had a tough offseason. still a decent little core moving forward, but disappointing not adding any pieces.
 
So have rck & Chester given up the Laker ghost now that the pipedreams are fading?
