because he's already a free agent and he's not on the team anymore.

They're extremely similar players.... I'd give the nod to nick because he's been slightly more consistent when given the opportunity

I actually believe that the Lakers have some of the best young talent in the NBA.

Clarkson, Randle, and Russell = very solid potential youth.

Hibbert knows how to play. We've seen it. If he can find who he was during his contract year, he also becomes an asset. The center positon is terrible and he's still one of the better ones. I love what the Lakers did once they didn't get the big names...which was largely because THEY DIDN'T HAVE ANYBODY.

I'd rather see these moves as opposed to committing to true bums for years just because we didn't get the big names.

Lou Williams is great value at 7 a year. Hibbert is still good defensively.

I like where this ship is going. We are not close to contenders, but we have a good bit of youth and a couple of veterans to instruct the young bucks on how to approach the game.
