Why do we keep acquiescing to the other teams in the league? We backed down after the CP3 trade failed even though we could have forced things further along. Why should we bow down to their crying?

Nothing wrong with the Lakers saving the money or handing out 1 year contracts. I want my Knicks to do it at this point. No one out there is worth the commitment (figuring LMA and DJ are gone).

Keep space to get who? More players that don't want to come because our personnel is suspect? That's the issue now. We have to get somebody that can actually play here long term this summer because it's cheaper.

After that date, then its only 3 days. Offering now just gives Magic more time to figure out the money.
