In all seriousness though,  even though we struck out on the couple free agents we were going after, Im glad we didn't just throw big contracts out there to the first player who would take one.  I'd rather let our young guys develop with each other another year than pay someone Like Demare Carroll 15M or Robin lopez 12M.  We are going to have like 60 Million next year to work with.

Just waiting on the attempt at them trading at least 2 of Randle, Clarkson, and Russell for Boogie.

I believe this could have been somewhat buffered if they had just taken Jah. No need to go after a big at all and wouldn't have had to waste time while everyone got snatched up elsewhere.

But they've had 23 mil plus to use two summers in a row and have come away with nothing. That's not all on Kobe. 60 mil coming away with nothing will look 100x worse.

Only way to make this worse is to give up some of our young guys for a vet.

Gonna have to go with the same plan as last year. Take on a bad contract for a young player of pick and sign a few reclamation projects.

But this year Byron has to actually play the young guys from the jump.
