Perhaps I am aiming low to avoid disappointment, but Robin Lopez and Al Farouq-Aminu would make me happy as free agent signings. May even some extra money leftover for a backup.

Lopez is a solid two way center. Protects the rim, decent rebounding and a scavenger on offense. Aminu is an athletic, defensive monster that can make the occasional three ball.

Lopez
Randle
Aminu
Kobe
Russell

What price range we at with RoLo and Aminu? Is that 15ish?
Splitter/Green would be in the 19-20 range I'm guessing (haven't looked it up yet)

Both are decent fall backs if LMA turns us down, or DeAndre can't be had. I don't even think we get a sit down with Marc.

Application denied

The Lakers worked out Russell twice. The first by himself, the second in a three-on-three-scrimmage.

Russell was strong in his first meeting, but really blew them away in the group setting.

"When he came back and he went three-on-three, you saw the leadership qualities that he had," said Scott. "You saw the ability he had to pass the ball and make other guys better, the ability to get to the basket, the ability to knock down threes."

I think you can get Lopez for $8-9M per, maybe $10M tops. Aminu, perhaps in the $6-7M range.

But the increase cap may inflate their market a tad more. I don't think it eclipses $19M.

But who gives a damn? This is stupid, we're finally on the same page and got some talent, and yall wanna call first on who liked who first :smh:

Yup its childish. We wanted our guy. We didnt get him. Not like were gonna stop supporting the team. Emotions run high at the moment. In anything. But thats just human nature.

Given the options

LMA + filler
RoLo/Aminu
Splitter/Green

How you rank em?

I go Splitter/Green, then LMA, and RoLo/Aminu 3rd.

Splitter/Green
RoLo/Aminu
LA/Filler

I always liked LA, but ehhh for this team at this moment.
