I honestly think Lakers can't afford to play it safe this offseason like they did in 2014.
There was a reason to be bad.
But now they need to come back with a name. And Russell & Randle are not going to draw a big name in 2016, unless they start out as legit Boarderline All-Stars.
I'm not saying sign a name for the sake of a name. Or sign a name that stunts somebody's growth (i.e. Signing Dragic would be an example).
But a name that slots into one of the holes we have, that can attract someone in 2016.
