Came across this a while ago

Its a pretty good breakdown. He was right about the 4 / $80M for LA that was reported recently.

^ If the cap is $67.1mil, 30% of that is higher than $18.8mil. I'm trying to figure out how he got that number.

Keep in mind Aldridge is eligible for $20.13 million

^^perfect. Excellent find..so 18.8 or whatever for yr 1, leaving perhaps up to 6 million to sign a tier 3/4 FA depending on roster moves. Plus a room exception.

I don't know either, I just saw 18.8 a few times. I don't understand why they don't just do 20 x 4 = 80.

Isn't The 20M the average annual? And at 5% increase, doesn't it make sense? Iuno....moving along..lol.

Mitch says to LaMarcus.. Heyyyyy can you take $20mil even.. Just so you know, I don't have to break out my calculator?

Ahh I figured out where the guy is getting the $18.8mil from...

Using our $62,801,254 number, we can find a close approximation of max salaries for the 2015-16 season

Cap won't go down.

So now that we declined hills option can we sign LMA at the max for 18.8 or whatever and then go get a player like Carroll???

Yea we would have to get rid of some salary to pick up a middle tier role player.

I wonder if Mitch catches the big fish will he stop his spending for this summer....I figure you spend as much as possible now before the salary goes up.

Every penny of cap space will be utilized. Bet that. 24 hours and 29 minutes until we knock on LMAs plush, Newport coast off season home. Not that I'm waiting impatiently or anything.

So if LMA does sign, who are you guys looking at with the rest of the money?

Back up PG? Veteran wing?

Most likely just bring back Wayne Ellington and Ronnie Price.

He's pretty reliable.

I still think the Spurs are ahead, but who knows. I wonder if the Spurs start crunching numbers and settle for someone else like David West instead.

I'm sure they've known their numbers for a while now, it's going to come down to the organizations ' pitches and where LMA wants to go. They'll all offer the max

Is this the guy in rcks avy? If so he's the GOAT lakers fan. Sorry jack

Insurance policy for Kobe
He's a perennial 6th man
Someone has to give Byron a reason to cross his arms on the baseline
